Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

I cannot say enough good things about this soup!! It's fresh, clean and just scrumptious. ūüôā Perfect for spring and summertime! 🍋🍋🍋

Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

I'm not the biggest fan of soup in the warmer weather, but this Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup is a great one to serve all year long.

I'll admit, my hubby was a bit skeptical when I told him I was making a soup that had, ummmmm……lemon juice in it and had lemon in the main title. But, if you've ever had a similar soup at Panera then you'll be sooooo happy you've found this jewel of a recipe.

Now, let's get to it and by the way, my whole family loved this one and gobbled it right down! Even the hubby! ūüôā

prep time 20 minutes | cook time 6-7 hours | serves 12 | 175 calories per serving

Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb pkg carrots, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¬Ĺ tsp dried thyme
  • ¬Ĺ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 32 oz cartons low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 ¬Ĺ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz orzo pasta
  • ¬Ĺ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 5 oz pkg baby spinach leaves
  • shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)

directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté carrots, celery and onions in hot oil until vegetables begin to soften. Add garlic; cook and stir until fragrant, about 1 minute. Transfer mixture to slow cooker.
  2. Add thyme, oregano, 1 teaspoon salt, ¬Ĺ teaspoon pepper, bay leaf, chicken broth and chicken to slow cooker; stir.
  3. Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or on high 3-4 hours.

  5. Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, squeeze lemons for juice and zest.
  6. Add cooked pasta, lemon juice, zest and baby spinach to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low about 5 minutes or until spinach wilts into the broth.
  7. Ladle into bowls and top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore: Crocktober Day 19

I can hardly believe it's Crock-tober Day 19 Рgoodness, I have loved Crock-tober soooo much for making my life easier, and have so enjoyed cooking every morning with you. (I sure hope you've loved it too!)

This Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore is one of my favorites because my family loves spaghetti, but I love that the chicken is all cooked in so I feel like they're getting a little protein too. This one is so simple, done in about 3 minutes, and all I have to do tonight is throw together a side salad and cook up some pasta.

I just love that. ūüôā

Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes: Crocktober Day 18

Once again, Crocktober saved the day at our house.

Today I tried out these Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes using the saute feature in my Instant Pot for the first time,  then slow cooked them all day in the Instant Pot too, and they were absolutely fantastic!

I also made this mason jar oatmeal overnight, and I feel like I've totally won at life today.

Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas + Mug Brownies

Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas + Mug Brownies: Crocktober Day 17

slowcookerchickenfajitas

Clearly my bunch was pretty happy today.

My girls walked in the door from school today to the scent of warm brownies heated up in the crockpot.

Not sure life gets much better than that on a just-cool-enough-Crock-t0ber day.

We totally all splurged, sat down to crock-pot-cooked-mug brownies, and since my hubby had late meetings tonight, we may have had more dessert than dinner tonight.

While I definitely can't recommend this type of dinner all the time, my kids think I'm the coolest, we're all kind of in a warm-sugar-chocolate-coma, and God gave us a little extra grace with no activities planned for the night.

life is pretty good. ūüėȬ†

Slow Cooker Chicken & Dressing

Slow Cooker Chicken & Dressing: Crocktober Day 16

Oh my word. I am sooooo pleased with Crock-tober again today!

Today was slow cooker chicken and dressing, and since this is one of those recipes I hardly ever make (the last time I made it was during Crock-tober 2016 . . .), my hubby was absolutely thrilled to have dinner tonight.

(Dressing is his favorite, so this one is always a big win at our house.)

But today I finally got RIDICULOUSLY SMART.

Like, crazy smart.

Because we usually have quite a few leftovers, it dawned on me how clever it would be to repurpose those leftovers into freezer meals for busy week nights.

Or for a night if I”m traveling and my bunch still needs to eat.¬†

Or even if my hubby just wants something to take to work in a month besides a cold PB&J.

I packaged up a few leftovers rather than them throwing them away, and now I have a few more meals done.

WOOHOOO!

(I really didn't know I was the smartest momma on the planet, but¬†clearly I am. And you can totally join me now and be the smartest momma too.) ūüôā¬†

Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Soup & Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Soup & Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches: Crocktober Day 14 & 15

It's Crocktober Day 14 & 15 all wrapped into one . . . because¬†well it's been a Crock-tober Crazy week! ūüôā

I completely forgot to take a picture of the Cheeseburger Soup when we had it last night, but here it was in Mrs. Potts Cooking up all day.

Tonight we're having these slow cooker philly cheesesteak sandwiches and they're my all time favorite ~ I can't even wait until we have dinner tonight!

I would love to tell you oodles more, but a friend of mine just texted me a deal on a RIDICULOUS piece of furniture my hubby and I found a few weeks ago but was way over our budget.

So, I'm on my way out to find it now and will update you when I get back. ūüôā

Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo: Crocktober Day 13

This is one of the easiest recipes you will ever dump in your crock.

For real.

It takes about 5 seconds to dump it all in, turn on Mrs. Potts, and let her get to work.

And it tastes soooo good.

The only downside is that it calls for a few packaged processed ingredients (cream of chicken soup and Italian dressing), so I fixed that by just mixing those up using the recipes in the Crocktober Cookbook.

It doesn't get any better than that.

And, my family absolutely loves this one, which is a huge win at our house too.

Slow Cooker Taco Meat

Slow Cooker Taco Meat

This recipe just might change the way you look at ground beef, my friends.

And, really, give you a whole new reason to love your slow cooker.

For years I've been convinced that there was no way on earth to cook ground beef in the crockpot (unless I pre-cooked it ahead of time for something like chili), however, I've thankfully been proved wrong.

With the way our afternoon/evening schedules have looked, so often it's hard to get much besides cereal on the table if Mrs. Potts doesn't do the cooking, so this is a great alternative.

And guess what?

It works.

And, because I've¬†lost my mind . . .¬†my other crockpot is filled up with Crockpot Monkey Bread for dessert tonight too. ūüôā

The best part is that dinner is easy and done before I have the chance to head to the drive thru. Soooo worth it for our family!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings: Crocktober Day 11

Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumplings

chickenanddumplings2

My kids are so happy today. ūüôā

Of all the recipes I've made in Crocktober in the last three years, this one is always by far their favorite, every single time.

In fact, they love it so much that my daughter texted this morning to see if she could invite a friend over for dinner in between cross country practice, soccer, and Young Life.

Success. ūüôā¬†

It's super simple, tastes amazing and is plain ole' comfort food on a chilly dreary day.

Home doesn't often feel much better than that.

chickenanddumplings

I was going to also make the monkey bread dessert from Crock-tober, but my sweet friend Cheree mentioned that we might feel like Pillsbury Dough Boys ūüôā if I made both in one day, so I'm reserving it for late this week. (I think I'll make it either tomorrow or Thursday ~ we'll see how adventurous I feel on either day)!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak: Crocktober Day 10

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Soooo . . .  this is one of my hubby's favorite meals . . .

but one I would never (normally!) make.

(I'm a grilled chicken salad girl every day and would pick that wayyyy over Salisbury Steak.) ūüôā

However, after last night's Buffalo Chicken disaster (um, yikes), I clearly owe him.

(And, even as a grilled-chicken-salad-girl I've gotta say, this one tastes pretty amazing once it's made . . . . )

It's easy, simple, old-fashioned comfort food and it makes him happy (which is worth it on a football Friday night before heading out to the game.) ūüôā

Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos: Crocktober Day 8

Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos

Crocktober Day 8 is done ~ whew! I absolutely love getting dinner done in under a minute, and it doesn't get any easier than that.

The best part about this recipe is that you can either make it using pre-mixed taco seasoning and salsa at the store, or make your own at home.

Included in the Crock-Tober cookbook are recipes to make the taco seasoning and lots of other homemade seasonings from scratch.

(Did I mention the cookbook was FREE for you to print? I'd sure love to send it right out to you!)

Slow Cooker Spaghetti with Meatballs: Crocktober Day 7

Slow Cooker Spaghetti with Meatballs

Crocktober Day 7: it can't get any easier than this!

This  recipe is so simple you could make it in just a few minutes at dinnertime at night, but by making it ahead of time in the morning, you kind of trick your brain into forcing to eat at home.

If dinner's not done at our house by 10AM, my day often goes downhill (eek!) and I come up waith every excuse on the planet not to make a real meal at home.

So getting cooking done early in the day ensures that I've got no good excuse not to pull together a meal, and our family eats better for it.

Click HERE to see video if it's not working for you.

That's why Crock-tober is just about y favorite month of the year. ūüôā

I hope you're loving Crocktober as much as I am!

We're on day 5, and after last night's¬†fantastic¬†Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops,¬†I couldn't wait to get Mrs. Potts started today. ūüôā

scwhitechickenchili3

I also did some really simple PPP crafting for Crock-tober while on Facebook Live today. ūüôā

I just used a few pieces of leftover wood, some old paint, twigs from the backyard, Dollar Tree twine and my trusty hot glue gun.

Nothing fancy, but it kind of fluffs up Mrs. Potts. Don't you think? ūüôā¬†

These Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops are one of our all time favorites, and I just love how simple they are to make.

My favorite part though?

You can make these really simply using store bought cream of chicken soup and ranch dressing, or make homemade cream of chicken soup and homemade ranch dressing mix at home (the recipes for the homemade mixes are in our free Crocktober Cookbook), and make this one a wee bit healthier right at home.

I love that.

This is one of my all-time favorite recipes, so I'm super excited to have dinner done today and know my family will love this one tonight!

Slow Cooker Rigatoni (with all the fixin's) is almost like pizza in the crockpot ~ just pop it all in Mrs. Potts like a lasagna and let her do all the work.

We're having it tonight with side salads and peas (I really wanted to bake a loaf of my favorite bread machine dough bread, but knew I'd eat the whole thing so decided to stick to salad instead.) ūüôā¬†

By the way, this bread is in the Crocktober Cookbook Рbe sure to print your copy HERE if you haven't gotten it already.

Turkey Breast in the Crock-Pot

Can you make a turkey breast in the crock-pot? You absolutely can!

I always grab a few turkey breasts when they're on sale around Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we can have an inexpensive protein to add with a veggie.

The best part?

It doesn't take all that long to cook in the slow cooker at all.

Boneless turkey breast recipes can be incredibly flavorful too.

I know we usually think about making turkey only around Thanksgiving with traditional spice combinations, however the spice mix in this recipe can be used year-round and it comes out savory every time!

Being able to literally pop this in the slow cooker (aka Mrs. Potts at our house) makes this recipe soooooo simple, and an easy way to free up your oven too. When you're baking lots of dishes on a holiday, you need all the extra oven space you can get, so let the slow cooker do the work and don't worry about putting the turkey breast in the oven this year!

And, in case you're curious, a decent price on bone-in turkey breast is 99¬Ę – $1.49/lb. (Prices will vary by area and time of year, but that's what I'm always aiming for!) Since turkey breasts are normally at their best price in November, pop an extra in your freezer, and don't get stuck paying full price in May.¬†

Or, you can pop an extra turkey-breast in the crock pot when it's on sale, and freeze the meat once it's cooked to save for soups, stews, and casseroles too! Print your grocery stock up price guide HERE.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast Ingredients

  • 5-6 pound, bone-in turkey breast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

1. Open turkey and discard packaging. Rinse turkey off and pat dry with paper towel.

2. Brush the 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the turkey.

3. Combine the seasoning in a small bowl and generously rub over the turkey.

4. Pour 1/2 cup of water into the slow cooker and add prepared turkey.

5. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.

6. Once the turkey is cooked through, prepare your side dishes.

7. Gently remove the turkey from the slow cooker and use a sharp knife to slice the breast off the breast bone then slice the meat and plate.

If you prefer a crispy skin, you can set the turkey under the broiler for 5-10 minutes so that is crisps up. The inside will still be moist and juicy when you cut it to serve.

How to Hard Boil Eggs in Slow Cooker

How to Hard Boil Eggs in the Slow Cooker

Eeek – Easter is ALMOST HERE!!

If you're a little behind on your egg game – then let me help you out with just ONE MORE method of getting your eggs hard-boiled and ready to dye or devil ūüôā (If you haven't yet – you HAVE to try this Easter recipe for Paula Deen's Deviled Eggs!)

We've seen how to do Easter Eggs in the Instant Pot (hard boil AND dye them at the same time Рjust minutes for this method!).  And most of us know how to dye eggs the old fashioned way, on the stovetop.

But if you're running around and don't have time to keep an eye on your eggs Рthe slow cooker is a great alternate method!  (This is also nice if you're kitchen is super hot in the summertime or

To hard boil eggs in the crock pot:

  1. Place eggs in your slow cooker (or I used my Ninja on slow cooker mode)
  2. Fit as many as you can without stacking them.  I was able to fit 22 in my Ninja!
  3. Cover completely with lukewarm water and slow cook on LOW for 3 1/2 hours.
    ****
Use this time to run out and grab your other Easter groceries, clean the house for company, or take a long nap. (HA!!)
    ****
  4. Take out and move to an ice bath immediately – just like you would when you normally hard boil eggs.

NOTE: If your yolk is tinged with green, don't worry.  That just means they're a little overcooked or they didn't cool down fast enough.  If you can get past the color, they'll still taste great in all your favorite recipes!

Crockpot Ham Tip – When Your Ham is TOO Big for Your Slow Cooker!

Crockpot Ham Tip

I love making our Easter Ham in the slow cooker – it frees up the oven for rolls and pies and casseroles and other yumminess!¬† But you might run into a slight problem – so let me share with you this crockpot ham tip for when your ham turns out to be TOO big for your slow cooker…

And before I forget – Get my FREE Printable Easter Menu Plan here –¬† I promise it will make your life so much easier!¬† It comes with a shopping list and times for when to put what in the oven, etc… I think you'll love it ūüôā

Crockpot Ham Tip for BIG or AWKWARD Hams

1 . Set your ham down in your slow cooker with the flat side down and pour over any pineapple juices, brown sugar, maple syrups, etc… that you plan to use.¬† See my Crockpot Maple Glazed Ham here and the old-fashioned Brown Sugar & Pineapple Ham here.

2 . Take heavy duty aluminum foil (if you have it Рbut regular will work in a pinch) and cover the ham generously to that foil hangs down over the sides some.  Do the same in the other direction Рso there are no ares of the surface not covered by foil.

3 . Crimp the foil to the crock pot rim and work your way all the way around, making sure it's as tight a seal as you can manage.

Let it cook the normal amount of time and it works like a charm!¬† You'd be surprised how long it took me to think of this the first time I bought a turkey or ham that wouldn't fit completely in my slow cooker – sometimes when you are under a weeee bit of stress (like holiday baking!) your brain doesn't work like it should ūüėČ

If you missed my FB Live video this morning you can watch it HERE.

Can I just tell you how thankful I am for this very special day?

It's so very special, because it's a day I get to be home all day.

No appointments.

No kid pick-ups. (That never happens in our home.)

No business calls.

Just a day to be at home.

Now, I do have to work (I typically work at least 8 hours a day on blog work here on PPP), but to get to do that without all the extra fluff around here just makes life a little simpler to take.

So today, as I shared on Facebook Live, I decided I wanted to do 30 minutes of something just for me.

(I even wore my all time favorite let's-stay-home-all-day outfit.) ūüôā¬†

I've been listening to Emily Freeman's Podcast The Next Right Thing (I¬†HIGHLY recommend this one if you have just a few minutes each week!), and in episode 3 she recommended making a “most important list.”

I stopped typing away at emails and plans over here on PPP for 20 minutes, and came up with my very most important list.

Here goes. ūüôā

(Note ~ she also includes pulling together your Life Draining List – I did write those as well but figured it was probably better not to share them here publicly!) ūüôā¬†

My Very Most Important Live Giving List (2017 to date)

Personal

  • exercise (I exercise every morning during the week at 5:30 AM. Our gym has just started offering Body Pump and Body Combat which I¬†love¬†after taking those classes in Alabama, so I do those twice a week, spin class once a week, and run on the treadmill or do weight training the other two days)
  • eating well (I am LOVING my daily strawberry spinach salad for lunch! I've tweaked my eating habits a bit in 2017 and am pleased with the results I'm seeing right now ~ will share more on that one in January if I feel confident in the plan I'm doing now)
  • new podcasts to listen to – Amy Porterfield, Chalene Johnson, Donald Miller, Emily Freeman
  • Joseph – The Journey to Forgiveness Bible Study
  • fluffing up our home (specifically, getting an old print of James's parents re-matted – that picture gives me joy every time I walk by!)

Relational

  • trip out west with family in June
  • lunch or dinner dates with James (these don't come often enough!) ūüôĀ¬†
  • mornings with Reagan home (she's home almost two hours after her older brother and sister leave for school, and while we don't do much in the mornings I love having her around and know I'll miss her when she starts middle school next year earlier in the day!)
  • watching my daughter Caroline's confidence grow
  • fluffing up Jackson's bedroom and spending a little extra time with him this last year before he heads to college
  • beach trip with Shannon and Cheryl to plan the fall (both have worked on PPP now for several years – I have an amazing team and the 3 of us were lucky enough to sneak away with kids for a few days)
  • visits with extended family and phone calls with my sister-in-laws (I'm so glad they put up with me!)¬†
  • making meals for people (I don't do this very often at all, but when I do it's more a gift to me than it is to the one I'm giving the meal to)
  • shopping day with my friend Brandy and a lunch date with my friend Angie (I VERY rarely have time without kids that I'm not working, so having a day “off” on the weekend to enjoy with a friend is an incredible gift to myself!)
  • phone calls with my friend Misty
  • text messages with my friends Lana and Sarah
  • Bible study at my friend Jen's home
  • Easter family get together here at our house (this was our family's last big event before my father-in-law passed away in the Spring – such a special gift to each of us! You can see the sweetest picture of him with my son and hubby over HERE – he's been one of the biggest blessings in our lives and I'm so incredibly thankful God was gracious enough to let me be a part of this family.)¬†

Actionable

Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy

If you missed my FB Live video this morning you can watch it HERE.
Day 11 of Crock-tober is done!

Tonight's Crock-t0ber meal was Carmen's Chicken and Gravy (Carmen is a rockstar in our Dinner's Done Facebook Group and always posts the yummiest recipes!), and when we tried this one out a few weeks ago it was definitely one of our favorites.

I debated how to make it though, because we're having some college kids who serve in our local Young Life Ministry over to eat, and in all reality (although making this Crock-tober meal would have been so yummy for them), I'd already decided to give myself a little grace and order barbecue. ūüôā¬†

(Making mashed potatoes for 20 just wasn't in my what-I-really-am-up-for-right-now-today list!)

Then it dawned on me that I'll be out of town at a conference next week, and I could totally turn this meal into an easy freezer meal for my bunch while I'm away.

I dumped the ingredients to cook all day in one bag, added corn starch in another (because I'm not quite sure my family will know where to find corn starch without me), and included everything along with the instructions for the recipe in a larger bag in the freezer.

It took hardly any time at all, and I'm thrilled that I'll have a meal ready for them to enjoy while I'm away!

I also made up bags of chocolate chip cookies with Dollar Tree ribbon to send home tonight with the kids who come. (I'm so thankful for Young Life's Ministry and the kids that have poured into my older kids, that this was the least I can do!)

One more week of Crocktober is in the books ~ success!

After having a puny kiddo home from school yesterday my girl is on the mend (as evidenced in today's video above ~ eek . . .) and we spent the morning together making homemade cinnamon rolls to serve along breakfast casserole & fresh fruit for dinner tonight.

I used my regular almost homemade cinnamon rolls recipe, except instead of using store bought frozen bread dough I made a batch of our favorite bread machine bread dough and used that as the dough. It was so simple to make that I'll probably do that from now on!

The recipe is so simple (just think lasagna layering when planning the egg casserole), and dinner is done.

Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole

Last night we had the pasta fagioli soup and it was amazing, served with homemade garlic knots which were pretty perfect too!

Y'all, I'm not gonna lie, so far today has been a terrible-no-good-very-bad-day. ūüôĀ¬†

But things are looking up (and at least dinner is done!)

The last few days I've had issues with my iPhone (which is what I use to record FB live), and sure enough this morning it wasn't working at all (the sound is completely awful, and I just bought a new iPhone 6 months ago!)

I'd driven all around town last night trying to get it fixed by picking up a new microphone (that didn't work), giving it a software update (didn't work either), and finally decided this morning to just use my iPad to video. (Which would be fine, except that I don't have a way to hold it. EEK!)

After an hour of fooling with that mess I finally made dinner on FB live (and it worked fine ~ whew!) then hauled my sweet ten year old to the doctor because she's just felt puny for about a week.

I was frustrated with the phone, frustrated with all I had to do, and frustrated with myself for being frustrated about all of it. (Because really, I KNOW this is stuff is small stuff, but it feels like big stuff some days!)

As I was at the doctor's with this girl, they thought she probably just had a weird stomach bug (her stomach's been bothering her and she's just acted weird for her.) But, they suggested we go ahead and get a flu shot (so figuring I'd at least get that checked off the list) we went ahead and did that.

When checking out she asked if she could go to the car (which I could see from inside the office), and said she felt a bit dizzy. I didn't think anything at all, and she went on her way.

About a minute later I heard a loud crash, turned to see what it was and realized Reagan had completely passed out just outside the doctor's office.

I have never in all my life been so scared.

She came around in just a few seconds, but needless to say, this momma's heart realized all the other small stuff really didn't matter.

Apparently she was just a little dehydrated and got anxious after the shot (she's always gotten a little nauseous after shots), and after a trip to the Chick Fil A drive thru seems to be a bit on the mend.

Bless her.

So tonight at least we have dinner done.

There are some gorgeous looking breadsticks sitting over by our oven ready to bake tonight, but I'm cozy on the couch with my girl and not even going to move over there to take a picture to show you. (You'll have to take my word for it.)

Last night we had the slow cooker open faced sirloin sandwiches for dinner, and they were fantastic too.

If your days some days look like mine and you feel like you can't manage one more thing, Crock-tober might be just for you too.

I am so so so so sooooooooo enjoying Crock-tober, and I sure hope you are too!

We made the brown sugar balsamic pork loin last night ~ and OH MY WORD IT WAS SO GOOD.

Tonight we're having Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Chili, and I can't even¬†wait. ūüôā¬†

It's amazing how getting dinner done each day can totally transform the dinnertime hour in your home!

I also wanted to give you a SUPER fast tip for today's Crock-tober meal that will make your life WAY easier! On Day 8 of Crock-tober Volume 2 (which is tomorrow), we're making Slow Cooker Open Faced Sirloin Sandwiches which are so stinkin' good, but you need to marinade your meat for 8 hours ahead of time.

So, be sure to pull your meat out¬†tonight, pop it in the marinade and let it soak up those yummy seasonings all night long. ūüôā

And in case you couldn't find a beef sirloin tip roast (my store didn't have one), you can substitute with a shoulder roast or chuck roast. I'm going to serve ours over chunky slices of homemade bread (my recipes in the back of the book!), and I know my family is going to be in heaven!

If you'd like a¬†‘REAL' copy of the cookbook, these are now availble to order on Amazon (and remember, they include TWO volumes with FORTY recipes AND grocery lists AND a menu plan. I LOVE THAT!

If you struggle with getting dinner done, I promise, Crocktober might just change your lfie.
