Student Discounts for College Students – Take advantage of these savings!
It is not easy being a college student. From student loans building up to paying for textbooks, it can be a lot of spending! We have gathered up this huge list of stores, services, and restaurants that offer a discount for students.
Generally, you will just have to show your school photo ID or sign up with a school .edu email address. If there are any weird restrictions on getting the discount, we have noted them.
Discounts for Students on Digital Subscriptions
Younger adults LOVE digital subscriptions and there are SO many of them available now. Not only are you able to get discounts on these services, but they also make fantastic gifts for a student. Just make sure to check the details in how you sign up and how you're able to get the discount.
Get 3 months of Apple Music FREE when you sign up with a new account. This free 3 month discount is actually for everyone. For a specific Apple Music Discount for Students, you'll be able to get the service 50% off for 48 months. That makes your monthly payment just $4.99 with a valid payment method.  You will need to recertify your student status once a year.
When you sign up for Amazon Prime with your .edu email address, you'll get 6 months FREE of Amazon Prime. After your original subscription expires, you'll then get a special offer for half off the regular price.
Not only will you receive free 2-day shipping, but then the college student will have access to prime movies and shows – allowing you to *potentially* save a bit on cable costs too.
If you sign up for a Student Amazon Prime Account, you'll automatically get access to Amazon Music…. but if you would like more songs included as well as the ability to download your playlists, you can get Amazon Unlimited Music for just $0.99 per month with your Amazon student discount.
You can score a Hulu Student Discount for just $1.99 per month!  The regular price is currently $6.99, so that is a really nice discount. Hulu has some of its own programming now, so this may be another way for you to be able to cut down on cable costs.
If you don't JUST want Hulu, you could take a look at Spotify Premium Student. Their discount program is just $4.99 per month for students and offers Hulu (ad-supported plan), Showtime, AND Spotify. You get a month free before deciding if you want to commit to the monthly charge too. (Which is nice!)
Students and educators at eligible institutions can sign up for Office 365 Education for free, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools. Just head on over here and enter your valid school email address to get started today.
