How to cook a ham:

Because this recipe calls for a fully cooked spiral ham, your job is mainly to heat the ham and let the delicious glaze cure.

First sprinkle brown sugar into the bottom of your slow cooker. Unwrap the ham and place in the slow cooker. Pour the glaze over top of the ham, moving around slices to ensure the glaze gets into all the nooks and crannies. Add the rosemary sprigs around the ham.

Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. If your ham is too tall, don’t worry! Here’s what to do if your ham (or turkey) is too big for your crockpot.

How to make a glaze for Ham:

First, you’ll make your glaze. Pop the apple jelly in the microwave and heat until melted. Then, in a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted jelly, brown sugar, mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and ground ginger.

I have been racking my brain, trying to figure out a different way to make the ham this year, and …TADA!… this was in my email today. And even better, I can put it in a crockpot so as to not overheat my kitchen. *swipes forehead* Thank you, thank you, thank you!
