Ingredients needed for a Honey Baked Ham Copycat recipe at Home:
- Fully cooked spiral cut ham
- Brown sugar
- Fresh rosemary
- Apple jelly
- Dijon mustard
- Apple cider vinegar
- Garlic powder
- Ground ginger

How to cook a ham:
Because this recipe calls for a fully cooked spiral ham, your job is mainly to heat the ham and let the delicious glaze cure.
First sprinkle brown sugar into the bottom of your slow cooker. Unwrap the ham and place in the slow cooker. Pour the glaze over top of the ham, moving around slices to ensure the glaze gets into all the nooks and crannies. Add the rosemary sprigs around the ham.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. If your ham is too tall, don’t worry! Here’s what to do if your ham (or turkey) is too big for your crockpot.
How to make a glaze for Ham:
First, you’ll make your glaze. Pop the apple jelly in the microwave and heat until melted. Then, in a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted jelly, brown sugar, mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and ground ginger.

Here’s what Grocery by PPP members are saying:
So good, could not get apple jelly so used apricot jelly. Everyone loved it – Miranda W.
I subbed peach jelly that I had on hand for the apple, but followed the rest of the recipe exactly. I used foil over the crockpot since the ham was too big to fit inside with the lid on. The rosemary sprigs perfectly balanced out the sweetness of the glaze and the ham was tender and delicious. I will definitely make this again. – Melissa M.
