10 Best Leftover Ham Recipes
These delicious cheesy sandwiches are made in the slow cooker. So not only are you going to be saving money by using your leftover ham, you're going to be saving TIME too! This recipe does call for sweet banana peppers, but if you've got picky kiddos, it's just fine leaving those out.
These yummy pinwheel sandwiches are baked which is a twist on the typical pinwheel that's served cold.  They only take about 20 minutes to make, so they're perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
You could make them up ahead of time and then bake just before you want to serve them too. They're also delicious at room temperature. Throw in a nice salad and dinner is done!
These Ham and Cheese Sliders are part of our freezer meal set – which is PERFECT for using up leftover ham. We like to use Hawaiian bread rolls for these for an extra sweetness, but you could use regular rolls leftover from your Holiday meal as well (especially if you already used a glazed ham). These are great to make up ahead of time, pop in the freezer, and then use when you're in a pinch. They're also wonderful to take on vacation!
Leftover Ham Breakfast Recipes
This breakfast casserole is SO versatile and can be tailored to your family. It's absolutely delicious as is, but if you'd want to change up the hash browns or the cheeses (or even the meats!), you definitely can. The fact that it is cooked in a crock pot and uses diced ham makes it perfect for an easy after holiday meal. It makes enough for a crowd too, so if you have family staying longer, this may be just what you need!
Perfect for breakfast or for on the go for a quick morning, these Ham and Cheese muffins are the perfect leftover ham recipe. If you used a Christmas ham with a pineapple glaze or a sugar glazed ham, you may want to add some extra onions to balance out the sweetness. They're cheesy and delicious – perfect for any crowd.
Dinner Ham Recipes
This Ham & Cheese pasta bake is not just a great leftover ham recipe, but it's SUPER frugal too.  The kids will love it because of it's similarity to macaroni & cheese and you will love it because it comes together so easily. You may even have all of the items in your pantry right now!
This hearty soup takes a bit of prep work before hand to prepare your beans, but after that's done (and you can soak them overnight), it's just a simple dump and cook slow cooker recipe. It turns out delicious and is perfect for a busy night. This would be especially delicious if you used a honey mustard glazed ham as your original meat. Serve this soup with some cornbread and you'll have dinner ready in no time.
Nothing says comfort food like cheesy potatoes and it's a bonus that this recipe can use up some of your leftover ham 🙂 This recipe uses quite a bit of potatoes as well, so this is the perfect time of year to make this meal since potatoes have been on sale recently too. Pair with some Simple 7up Biscuits and some veggies and you've got an easy dinner.
Yes, this recipe calls for Prosciutto, but you could VERY easily substitute using your leftover ham. My friend Shannon tried this and her husband called it “Olive Garden” good! It comes together really quickly too, so that's an added bonus!
And while not really a recipe, but if you have a lot of leftover ham, you can freeze your ham!  Depending on the type of ham you have, you can store your leftover ham for up to 6 months so you have it to use in all of your ham recipes. Be sure to wrap it tightly to avoid freezer burn and label it with the date you placed it in your freezer.
The most important thing here to remember is that you can definitely repurpose your leftover ham. Remember to save your ham bone for soups too!Â
