My hubby and I made a quick trip to Kroger to stock up on M&Ms after our date night last night (details on our not-so-penny-pinched meal to follow . . . )Â I just can't pass up M&Ms when they're this cheap . . . however I had him hide them from both the kids and me so they'll be saved until we need them while watching a ball game! I thought Kroger sale pricing was pretty consistent, but apparently not. I just returned from my Kroger (in Louisiana) and didn’t find several of these prices. In particular, the Chex Mix and Green Giant Chips were NOT marked as included in the Mega Event (which here is buy 10 for $5 off) and were on sale 2/$4, so even with the 50 cent coupons doubling, it wasn’t that great a deal, except for the Muddy Buddies Chex Mix which is normally much more expensive (heavier package!) than the cracker varieties.
Hi Jennifer! I *think* your new sale starts tomorrow that should include these deals? While the meat and produce vary some by area, the mega sales are usually the same except that ours begins on Sunday and yours doesn’t start until Wednesdays. I just double checked the ads, and I think you all are still on what was our ad last week.
