We will show you everything you need so you can try this savory s’mores trend this season!

How To Make “Savory S’mores”
We all know and love the classic s’more: gooey marshmallow, melted chocolate, and crunchy graham cracker. But have you ever tried a savory twist on this fireside favorite? Say hello to savory s’mores! A delicious, melty combination of cheese, cured meats, spreads, and crackers. It’s like a campfire charcuterie board in one perfect bite!
These salty treats made their way around social media this summer and I am now a true believer in this savory twist! If you’re not a huge dessert person, or you just want to change it up a bit – you have to give these a try!
What You’ll Need:
Think of your savory s’mores spread just like you’re assembling a charcuterie board. Grab an assortment of the following and get roasting!
Soft Cheese (choose your favorites — here’s what we used):
- Brie
- Laughing Cow spreadable cheese
- Babybel soft cheese
Note: You’ll want soft cheeses so they will melt instead of crumble.
Cured Meats:
- Salami
- Pepperoni
- (or something else yummy like summer sausage or prosciutto)
Crackers:
- Ritz
- Triscuits
- Pita Chips
Spreads (for that extra flavor kick):
- Fig jam
- Hot honey
- Marmalade
How to Make Savory S’mores:
- Grab a piece of cheese (like Brie or Babybel), place it on your grilling tongs or a skewer, and hold it over the fire. Let it get nice and melty and bubbly!
2. Take a cracker, add your roasted cheese, layer on some cured meat, and top it off with a dollop of fig jam or a drizzle of hot honey.
3. Enjoy! These savory s’mores are best eaten warm! Gooey, cheesy, and full of flavor.
Try mixing and matching ingredients to find your perfect combo!
