Easy Garlic Bread Recipe using Frozen Bread Dough
If you've never purchased Frozen Bread Dough, oh my goodness you are missing out!
Frozen bread dough is super versatile (and cheap!). I decided to pull out some frozen bread dough to make frozen bread dough garlic twists a few weeks ago. Using the frozen dough gives you an easy homemade garlic bread without the work of making your own homemade bread from dough.
My family agreed I won at life for this one. 🙂Â
Ingredients needed:
- butter
- frozen bread dough
- garlic powder
- coarse salt
How to make easy Garlic Bread Twists using Frozen Home Bread Dough:
First, you'll want to let your bread dough thaw completely. It's easier to work with if it's close to room temperature. As your dough is coming to room temperature, go ahead and preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Next, you'll roll out dough. Think of a thin pizza crust for the depth.
After that, grab your pizza cutter to cut into long strands.
Then you'll want to twist your dough into long knots.
Melt your butter (or Smart Balance – whatever you're using), and then brush it onto dough. Sprinkle with garlic power and salt (There's really no set amount here – just however much seasonings you think is best. I typically use Kosher salt or Sea salt).
Then you'll want to bake for 10 – 11 minutes in your oven. Remove and enjoy!
