These Cinnamon Roll Turkeys are totally adorable and easy to put together!
Cinnamon Roll Turkeys
These Cinnamon Roll Turkeys were such a hit at our house that now my kids ask for them every November!
They’re almost too cute to eat, and the best part is, they couldn’t be easier to make. With just a can of cinnamon rolls, a little bacon, and some leftover Halloween candy, you can whip up the most festive Thanksgiving breakfast in under 30 minutes.
It’s such a simple idea, but one of those sweet little traditions that makes the morning feel extra special.
They’re perfect for a fun Thanksgiving breakfast at home, but also great for classroom parties, book club get-togethers, or a festive brunch with friends!
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (save the frosting!)
- 10–12 strips of bacon
- Candy eyeballs
- Candy corn
- Optional: red icing or a small red candy (like a pull-apart Twizzler piece) for the wattle
How to Make Cinnamon Roll Turkeys:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and bake the bacon for 15–18 minutes, or until nice and crispy. Pat off excess grease and let it cool slightly.
2. Bake the cinnamon rolls according to the package directions.
3. Add the bacon “feathers.” I cut my bacon slices into smaller 3 inch sections and tucked the bacon right into the cinnamon roll so they fan out like tail feathers.
4. With the frosting add your candy eyeballs to the front of one of your cinnamon rolls, and a candy corn for the beak.
Spread the remaining icing on each warm roll, serve, and enjoy! I love how easy these are, but they really add that sprinkle of fun to your mornings!
Penny-Pinching Tip: Grab your candy eyeballs and candy corn on clearance right after Halloween!
We’d love to hear if you make these for your friends and family this year! Let us know how they turned out in the comments below!
