Dollar Tree Easter Basket Craft – Make This Cute Bunny!
This is SUCH a fun and out-of-the-box idea for your Easter baskets this year! (I guess you could say it's out-of-the-basket?! Dad joke.)Â Head over to your local Dollar Tree and pick up just a few bits of supplies to create this adorable Dollar Tree Easter Basket craft.
I love how this slightly hides the gifts inside so your kids can “open” them on Easter. Plus, you can include a fair amount of fillers inside, or keep it simple this year.
Here's how to make this fun Dollar Tree DIY.
Supplies Needed for this Easter Basket Craft
For each bunny, you'll need 4 plastic bowls – two of each size. I grabbed these large bowls for the bottom and a two of these cute, wavy bowls for the top (the bunny's head). Dollar Tree tip – these bowls are with the Party/Entertaining supplies.
Next, I grabbed a pair of bunny ears and some shimmery, white basket filler grass from the seasonal department.
Finally, grab some clear packing tape and your favorite ribbon.
Make an Easter Basket Bunny
Fill one of the large bowls with faux grass. Then, place your basket filler gifts nestled inside. Cover with the other large bowl and tape lightly on each side. It doesn't have to be too secure since your family will be opening them shortly.
Next, do the same thing with the smaller bowls. I put a gift in the bottom (these adorable bunny slippers) and candy/Peeps in the top bowl. There was a lot of room left in the bowls, so fill with your favorites if you'd like!
Stack the smaller bowls on top of the larger bowls and secure again with a little bit of tape. Tie a ribbon around the “neck” and top with bunny ear headband.
This is just TOO cute! I just love the final result of this Easter Basket craft and I know my kids will, too!
