Have you ever had one of those days? Where you just want to wear some cozy sweats, not put your contact lenses in, and skip makeup completely? 

That was my day when these arrived.

Like many of you, the storms in the Southeast hit hard (it rained nonstop for two days, but way more scary than that is that my daughter is in North Carolina a wee bit stranded right now. She will be fine, but between calls from her, some weekend work on PPP, and worry over her, it was all I could do to even muster up a shower today. If you’ve been around here long, you know that’s not all that normal for me, which is why this cute sweatsuit was the nicest gift!

Around 1PM (!!!) the Amazon delivery guy showed up at my door, black tracksuit in hand.

I hopped up from my computer, took a shower, and decided to try her on because I promised my friend  Jamie I would.

I’ve gotta say, this little tracksuit is pretty cozy and comes in oodles of colors – although the black set is the cheapest right now!

It runs big. (I’m usually a small in blouses and medium/large in pants, and this medium fit generously on m ~ I think though looking at pictures that that’s kind of the style, so I’m loving the size!)

It’s warm.

It has pockets.

And it’s oh-so-cozy too. 

After finally showering and getting dressed in my cute new tracksuit I made some pumpkin bread with my youngest Reagan, tidied up Caroline’s bedroom for when she comes home, and had James take me out to dinner for some grilled cheese and tomato soup just because it’s felt like an awfully long few days.
