Have you made your Summer Bucket List yet? Here are some fun Summer Bucket List Ideas you can try with your kiddos. Such a fun time!
Summer Bucket List Ideas
Have you started a Summer Bucket List for your children this summer? It's SUCH a fun thing to do and can help keep boredom at a minimum – especially since the kids can help set it up!
Several (well, many years ago now!) my kiddos and I put together a bucket list. It was such a good time! Here are a few ideas to create your very own Summer Bucket List.Â
Goodness, I'm so stinkin' excited that summer is here! This morning for the very first time in fifteen years, on the first day school was out all three of my children slept until 7:30.
Pretty sure this means I've officially arrived. 🙂
We made a homemade waffle bar, and now they're already off getting things together for a trip this weekend. For you moms of little tiny kids, I promise you kind of get control back one day . . . it just may take a few years! 🙂
Before they took off for good, we all sat down together and made our Summer Bucket List Ideas and put them onto clothes pins. We placed them along the top and then once you complete that task, you can drop the clothes pin into the bucket.
The kids had a lot of fun doing this – let them be creative too, but keep it a bit realistic so that you can actually check things off 🙂
Here are a few ideas they came up with . . .Â
- Redo a bedroom (meaning move furniture around)
- Do an act of kindness
- Play Scrabble
- Catch fireflies
- Make cakepops
- Facepaint
- Get nails done
- Make a stage
- Make giant bubbles
- Play Twister
- Volunteer
- Make smores
- Try to get a world record
- Have a picnic
I love that they did their list all by themselves! Â
Have you made your summer bucket list yet for the summer? I'd love to hear what fun ideas are on your list this year ~ leave a comment to share!
Oh, the joy of having little ones! Please be certain to take in every moment and cherish it. May y’all have a blessed summer!
P.S. Just feeling a little emotional…my only child us graduating from high school in 12 days! Seems like just yesterday I was taking pictures of his first day of kindergarten. Don’t blink, time goes too fast!
Bless your heart Angela – I know you must be sad! My oldest starts middle school next year, and I was thinking when looking over many of these ideas that he may be too old for them…. but not quite so I’m making my list to put on the front of the fridge for the summer! Thanks for the reminder to appreciate them where they’re at, and I know you’ve got to be so proud of your son as he’s graduating (even through those tearful upcoming few weeks!) 🙂
That is so funny! I just did this with my kids the other day! (We homeschool and just finished up our school year) I’m going to go check out these ideas too! Thanks.
You’re so welcome… I think that’s going to be my project this week too … I can’t believe summer’s right around the corner! 🙂
