No Churn Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
There is nothing better than a delicious cup of ice cream on a warm day and this one is so yummy and kinda fun to make too! It’s a no churn ice cream, so you can get the kids involved in making it too even if you don’t have any kind of ice cream maker. They’ll think it’s just the coolest thing ever!

Ingredients for No Churn Mint Ice Cream:
- heavy whipping cream
- sweetened condensed milk
- peppermint extract
- green food coloring (optional)
- chocolate pieces or chocolate chips
How to make homemade ice cream with no ice cream maker:
Grab a large mixing bowl and start whipping your heavy cream on high speed with a mixer or blender. You’ll need to do this until stiff peaks start to form, about 5 – 10 minutes.
While that’s going on, grab another bowl and combine your condensed milk, peppermint extract, food coloring, and chocolate. Once the whipped cream is done, fold that into the condensed milk mixture until well combined.
Place it in a large loaf pan or 3 quart container and cover tightly. Place in freezer for about 6 hours or overnight before serving.
Then enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 3 drops green food coloring optional
- 1 cup chocolate pieces or chips chopped
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream on high speed for about 5 - 10 minutes until stiff peaks start to form. Be sure to not to over whip the cream to the point where it breaks down and separates.2. In another bowl, combine condensed milk, peppermint extract, food coloring and chocolate pieces.3. Fold whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture until well combined.4. Place into a large loaf pan or 3 quart container; cover tightly.5. Place in freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
How long can I store no churn ice cream?
As long as your container is tightly sealed, this no churn ice cream can be kept in the freezer for up to a month. It’s the perfect treat to have on hand for a hot day or to whip up well in advance of a party!
