Can this 40 percent off code be used more than once?
No, unfortunately. I tried, wanting to have a gift sent to my daughter, thus wanting it on a separate transaction. Didn’t work. I called customer service and was told “so sorry, can’t help you with this. One time use only”.
Generally it seems that the 40% off mystery code can be used only once. Here’s an exception: I received a 40% code good July 22-23. I used the code once on the 22nd and was unable to use it when I tried again on the 22nd. However, I tried again on the 23rd and was able to use it once on the 23rd. Interesting!

It looks like you’re no longer able to use coupon codes for Crocs?!! Guess it’s a new thing- as I have used them on Crocs in the past.
So am I understanding correctly that Kohls is only doing unique % off codes now, not a general 30% off code anymore? Is this a new and permanent thing or just for this month? If this is the new standard, they are becoming less and less customer friendly and I will likely be doing much less shopping with them in the future!
Hi Mandy! That’s correct ~ Kohl’s is currently only doing unique % off codes for cardholders (though they still have a regular 15% off code that non-cardholders can use). We’re not sure if this is something they’re only trying out or if it will be permanent, but we’ll try to keep this post updated with the current savings codes! 🙂 Hope that helps!
I agree! I am a Kohl’s MVP- but if this is their “new coupon plan” I will be cancelling my card.
Off the record…. if you have an Amazon return – take it to Kohls during the week and you will receive a % off coupon, but if you take in on the weekend you’ll get $5 KC instead.
Took return Saturday but no$5. Just 15% coupon.
Which are y’all saying is better? A $5 off coupon or 15% coupon? If you don’t have an expensive item, it seems like the $5 off coupon is better. So it seems like it would be better to return my Amazon return on the weekend. What do y’all think?
I agree with Mandy and Gabriella!! Not at all the MVP, card-holding, customer-friendly, or reward program member we were lead to believe. They did away with their nice return policy, no questions asked, no date limitation that was a big ad program they used. That was changed during the pandemic! No grace period for online purchase returns. My local Fort Myers store was not taking returns. That was so unbelievably NOT customer caring. I stopped shopping there when the customer was not told of the change and the items could not be returned. I placed a couple of orders recently but this new change MVP for cardholders is really the last straw. They don’t need their customers and I certainly don’t need them. Will be canceling my card.
I have trouble with the customer service and they reorder an entire order when I was getting a price adjustment and then they were suppose to reverse charges on my account but that was 8 weeks ago and nothing. I call and they said each time that is will be cared for but… not fond of the new kohls

Once again the Kohl’s coupons are turning into just clothes and home decor only. You used to be able to use discounts on Instant Pot items and those have gone the way of other “prestige brands”. The value of a Kohls CC is still there but it is becoming less each month as more exclusions (toys, Nike, Under Armor, etc) are added.
Totally understand that Mike ~ sadly there are some brands that are excluded from the savings code, but those are good brands to use any extra Kohl’s Cash on! 🙂 Hope that helps!

FYI-You cannot return EVERY Amazon order through Kohl’s. You have to check with Amazon where you may return-UPS or Kohl’s.
So frustrated with Kohls today. We bought 4 of the suitcases that were on sale Black Friday. We decided to only keep two so today I returned the other two. My cost for the 2 with tax was approximately $109. I knew when I returned it I would lose the 30 in Kohls cash. When she gave me my receipt for my credit it came to 70 plus a few dollars. I told her it didn’t make sense that they would force me to keep the Kohls cash and not give me full credit. The woman said it’s the way their computer system is set up. To top if off if I use the Kohls cash it does me no good to use the 25 % off coupon as I get nothing off, or very little depending on what I have left to pay when I use my Kohls cash. It’s very apparent to me that the Kohls cash is really not a great deal after all. I’ve been with Kohls for years and this is the first time I had to keep my Kohls cash. It’s just not right.
Tammy that is so frustrating that they wouldn’t just give you a full refund – and I completely agree that using Kohl’s Cash alongside a coupon code is a teensy bit infuriating 😉

Mostly I’m satisfied with Kohl’s sales and coupon offers. However I would order a lot more on kohls.com if I didn’t have to pay for shipping. As for today, I see items I would love to have but refuse to run up a bill of $75 just to get free shipping. My account is very good (always pay my bill on time) and as an extra perk I would enjoy free shipping or at least pick up at store; some items particularly clearance items cannot be shipped to store. It is nearly impossible for me to visit a store since I use a walker which makes it very difficult for me.
Sandy that’s a great point – as a Kohl’s Cardholder though, you’ll get free shipping every month during the 30% OFF code period! Every time Kohl’s does their 30% OFF code for Cardholders, they ALSO offer a free shipping code. We’ll always post both of them together to make life easier on you 🙂 (This month’s code for October is OCTMVCFREE) When you’re not shopping during those cardholder specials, another way to save on shipping is to choose in-store pickup whenever it’s available. If you go on the Kohl’s App and visit a store you get automatic free shipping. Mine usually works even if I’m in the parking lot.

It drives me crazy that you count the price AFTER Kohl’s cash. In the case of this Roomba, $50 more than what you account for is leaving my bank account. We all know that kohl’s cash isn’t worth much, as very little is on sale during the redemption period and it is used BEFORE all other coupons. I feel that it would be more honest and transparent to say Roomba – $208 + $50 of kohl’s cash. I can’t deposit kohl’s cashback into my bank account.

Kohls really frustrates me that they subtract your Kohls cash before they honor your 30% off code. If I buy something for $20 and I have a 30% off coupon it should be $6 off period

I save my Kohl’s Cash to spend on those items where you can’t use a discount code – like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Kitchenaid, Converse and other brands. I totally agree. They should treat the Kohls cash as cash. As for Kohls cash, an employee told me they will honor it for a short time after the written expiration date. But the best thing is to use your Kohls cash before it expires and buy anything, Something you do not want. Then return it. You will get a credit that never expires. In effect you are turning your Kohls cash into Kohls credit that never expires. Pretty clever.
It does expire a month after it’s reissued.
