Ingredients needed for these bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers:
- cream cheese
- pepper-jack cheese
- garlic
- kosher salt
- cracked black pepper
- jalapeños
- bacon
How do you make jalapeno poppers?
First, combine the softened cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and garlic in a bowl. Season with a bit of kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
Go ahead and preheat the oven to 400°F.
Be sure to put on some gloves before handling the jalapeños. Cut all the jalapeños in half lengthwise and then, using a spoon, remove the seeds and veins.
However, if you like a bit more kick then leave some of the seeds since that is where all the heat is in a jalapeno.
Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and then wrap each piece with half a slice of bacon.
Next, place each piece on a baking sheet and bake until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender. This will take about 25 minutes.
