Ingredients

  • 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups shredded pepper-jack cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • kosher salt
  • cracked black pepper
  • 12 jalapeños
  • 12 slices bacon, halved

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and garlic. Season with kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
  • Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise, then use a spoon to remove seeds and veins. Fill each jalapeño half with cheese mixture and then wrap each with half a slice of bacon.
  • Place each piece on a baking sheet. Bake until bacon is crispy and peppers are tender, about 25 minutes.

Notes

Be sure to wear gloves and don't touch your eyes when handling jalapeños.
