Aldi Advent Calendars 2022
2022 Aldi Advent Calendars are now available IN STORE. These are always popular every year and Aldi does NOT disappoint with these fun calendars each year.
Starting November 2, 2022 in the Aldi Finds aisle, you'll be able to get Aldi Advent Calendars. They start as low as $1.49 up to $39.99 for the highly rated specialty calendars. There's really something for everyone!
Advent calendars at Aldi are so fun and they do have so many different options. They have themed advent calendars like Jurassic Park and Matchbox Cars, chocolate advent calendars, DOG and cat advent calendars, and …. cheese advent calendars?! (It's a real thing and such a cute idea!)
Just a heads up – these are EXTREMELY popular. If you have a specific one that you're looking for – go early on the day they open. My store regularly has people lined up waiting for the store to open on the November 2 release date. They're that well liked!

This was what the 2021 Aldi Cheese calendar looked like – the blue and the purple look really festive for 2022!
Emporium Cheese Advent Calendar
This cheese calendar is one of the most highly coveted items every year. You'll see people making a run to the back of the store where the cheeses are – and this cheese advent calendar is what they are after! Each calendar has 24 festive mini cheeses in it (and some of them are specialty cheeses!).
How much is the cheese advent calendar at Aldi?
This year, we are looking at pricing on the cheese calendar for $16.99. Not too bad of a jump as last year this was $14.99 (and it looks like there will be two different colors to choose from this year!

This might be one of the coolest things I've seen at Aldi so far. LOTS of people love the different Aldi Candles that they have through the year, and for the advent season there are two options for candle advent calendars.

Advent Calendars Releasing after the initial November 2 Date:
While Aldi typically releases ALL of their advent calendars together on one day, we did notice that there are a few special releases later into the season. Some of these we don't have preview pictures for, but I'm sure they're going to be perfect ones to grab too!

This one didn't have a preview picture available, but the Moser Roth chocolates are delicious, so I'm SURE it will be a good one to grab. This would be a fun idea to bring along to Holiday parties as a thank you gift too!

Note that typically there is a LIMIT 2 on each of these advent calendars. My store originally tried to only allow limit of 2 total, but then clarified that it was a limit of 2 of the same type. Just be aware as you plan your shop!
Aldi confirmed the start date of the advent sale on their instagram page earlier this year as November 2, so get ready to shop that day and go early if there are certain calendars that you REALLY want.
Has Aldi always had calendars like this?
Aldi has been around since I was young, but they didn't start with advent calendars in store until 2018. Their first calendar was the wine advent calendar, and it has just grown from there each year.
In 2021, they offered a whopping 20 different advent calendars. For 2022, we will see 28 different Aldi Advent Calendars – WOW!
While not all stores carry ALL of the calendars, the cheese advent calendar, dog advent calendar, coffee advent calendar, and chocolates are widely available at most stores.
TIP: Remember that the store will be BUSY the morning of these advent calendar releases. Plan to get to your Aldi early and that you may have crowds!
The cheese advent calendar is typically back with the deli cheeses, while the other Aldi advent calendars are with the Aldi Finds items (or on a nearby end cap).
It's also important to note that most Aldi stores just get one shipment of calendars – so typically what you see is all they have available.

The release date for the 2022 Aldi Advent Calendar is November 2, 2022.
Where can I buy Aldi Advent and Holiday Calendars?
The Aldi holiday calendars are ONLY available in store at select Aldi stores. Also note that some items are prohibited by the state you live in (for example, items with alcohol can not be sold in stores in Pennsylvania).
If you get VERY lucky to have an Aldi Instacart shopper picking items up for you in store, they *may* be able to grab you a calendar as well, but this depends heavily on your shopper and the stock that your store has.
Tips for Shopping at Aldi
- Check out your Aldi online weekly ad over HERE before you shop.
- Aldi requires you to bring your own bags (or you can purchase them for $.06 per bag at the store.)
- You'll need to pay a quarter to use a cart at Aldi. When you return the cart, you'll get the quarter back.
- Aldi does not accept manufacturer coupons (however they have had a few Aldi Store coupons recently in a few local papers.)
- Aldi sale ad varies by store.
