DOLLAR TREE DIY ROPE WREATH
This $3 wreath I made on facebook live the other day is the simplest craft you will ever do! Plus, it is so versatile and PERFECT for fall and winter. 🙂
I think making up several of these and tying them onto the back of your dining chairs for Thanksgiving would be darling❣️
Here's what you need:Â
Here's what I did:
- I tucked the end of my rope into the grapevine. Then I started wrapping the rope around the wreath. You have to try to keep the rope as tight as you can as you wrap. It would have probably worked better if I used hot glue to secure the ends, but since I was on facebook live I skipped that step.
I used a grapevine wreath, but I think a wire wreath would be a bit easier and you could get your rope wrapped a little tighter. They didn't have any at my store when I checked, but my friend Cheree was able to do hers that way.
Here are a few variations she shared for us. Plus, all her items came from the Dollar Tree as well (even that darling owl ornament)! 🙂
The cotton idea is perfect since she lives in Alabama! 🙂
Some styling options I tried – I love this one for a more every day look. 🙂
I think it is just too cute with my rope pumpkins! 🎃
You can watch me make this Dollar Tree DIY Rope Wreath in this facebook live video here. 🙂
There are so many options to really make this one your own. But, in the end, I'm just a plain ‘ole girl and I think I might just prefer mine as a simple rope wreath. 🤗
