Bad news if you're a big fan of Aldi Cream Cheese spreads… On May 9th, Aldi issued a recall of 4 varieties of their cream cheese spreads in 28 states to avoid possible salmonella contamination.
Here are the varieties to look for in your fridge:
- Whipped Cream Cheese Spread, with UPC code 4099100101881
- Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread, with UPC code 4099100101751
- Cream Cheese Spread with UPC code 4099100101737
- Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread with UPC code 4099100101744
*Keep in mind these are all the tubs of chream cheese spread – not the bricks of cream cheese themselves.
