How to make Pulled Pork in the Slow Cooker:

Start by adding one teaspoon of vegetable oil to the bottom of your slow cooker. Add your pork roast (you may have to trim a little fat as this shoulder roast can be a fattier cut).

In a mixing bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients except the buns. Mix well and pour over your roast.

Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours or on high 5-6 hours. The roast should shred easily.

Serve over toasted buns and enjoy!

Okay Laurie – I’m trying these this morning so they can cook during church. Our Boston Butt Roast was on sale for $1.08/lb at HyVee (bone-in, but since you taught me how to cook whole chickens, I’ve been using bone-in meat!), so I’m trying it! Love this 25 days series! Thanks!

Yay Randi! Soooooo proud of you for cooking those whole chickens (I feel like learning to do that was one of my greatest accomplishments as a homemaker ~ so silly!) Hope you all enjoy it. 🙂
