Old Navy Super Cash Just Changed – Here's The Details!Â
Love shopping Old Navy Deals?
Right now it's Super Cash EARNING TIME and that means it's the PERFECT time to grab some new pieces for winter styles or Christmas gifts. Now through October 4 (that's TOMORROW!), you'll be able to earn towards the next redemption period.
Plus, Old Navy just made some BIG updates to their Super Cash – Find out what's changed below!Â
One thing to remember when shopping Old Navy is that you can't use a discount code along WITH your Super Cash code. Super Cash is always $10 off $25 – which is the equivalent of 40% OFF. That usually trumps any other code existing on the Old Navy site, so just something to keep in mind as you browse the deals!Â
What Is Old Navy Super Cash?
Old Navy Super Cash is a store coupon you earn when you spend $25.
PREVIOUSLY, It's value is always $10 off $25 (if you've earned one) or $20 off $50 (if you've earned two) and so on.  However, they JUST updated their program so that now whatever you spend will all be on ONE redemption – no need to worry about splitting purchases! So if you earn $60, you can redeem that amount with just ONE coupon code (previously, it would have been three separate codes).Â
You can use this coupon during a limited spending window. You'll get an email alert when that spending period begins – to see if you have that email search the subject line for the phrase “It's SUPER C-A-S-H time”!Â
How Do I Know If I Have Super Cash?
To see if you have a Super Cash code or how much you've accumulated, login to your OldNavy.com account here (or check your email by searching the phrase “You have Super Cash” in the subject line). Look for the bar code # to enter at checkout.
How Does Old Navy Super Cash Work?
Super Cash works like an Old Navy Coupon for $10 off a $25 purchase. (The equivalent of a 40% OFF coupon) You can use it on just about anything – and it's super fun to stack with sales!
NOTE: You can NOT use Old Navy Super Cash WITH another Old Navy Coupon. If you try – your cart will just apply the one that gives you the best discount. See more details below in our Old Navy tips.
Old Navy Super Cash Free Shipping:
Sometimes, when you get an email about your Old Navy Super Cash it will include a FREE SHIPPING code to enter alongside your Super Cash code. The Free Shipping offer isn't going on right now but does happen with MOST Super Cash redemption emails.
How to use Old Navy Super Cash online:
- Add items to your cart totally at least $25 (note that the more super cash you redeem, the more you may need to spend – you can redeem $10 off $25; $20 off $50; $60 off $150+, etc)
- Go to checkout
- Copy and paste your Old Navy Super Cash code that you received in your email into the promotions & rewards box
- Hit “apply” and your reward should attach
When can you use Old Navy Super Cash?Â
Every Super Cash cycle has a certain date that the redemption period starts. Super cash is earned during certain sales periods and redeemed during others.
It's basically like store money you earn by spending (similar to Kohl's Cash). There will be a redemption period after each earning period. Super Cash is actually earned on your entire purchase (pre-tax and coupon), so you can earn a bundle during these offers!
And there are ZERO exclusions aside of gift cards! If you make a purchase in store and use your Super Cash, you can also split it into more than one order – it doesn't all have to be used in a single transaction which is SO nice. Learn more about Old Navy Super Cash HERE.
The current Old Navy Super Cash cycle is running right now through October 4, 2024 with the redemption period starting October 5, 2024.Â
How much Old Navy Super Cash can I Spend?

Here are 9 more secrets you need to know before shopping at Old Navy:
1. Sign up for the new Old Navy Rewards program.
Navyist Rewards is free to join and you'll earn 2 points for every $1 you spend in-store or online across all of the Old Navy/Gap brands.
FREE SHIPPING: Navyist Rewards Members get FREE Shipping on $50+ orders.
It's easy too! Just enter your phone number in-store at checkout or use the email associated with your Navyist Rewards account when shopping online to earn points. Then, once you reach 500 points, you'll get an email with a $5 reward that can be spent at any of their stores!
Even better, for a limited time, new Navyist Rewards members will get 250 bonus points upon signing up for an account (that's basically $2.50!)! Also, by signing up for the Navyist Rewards, you'll automatically be enrolled in the rewards programs at Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta.
2. Subscribe to Old Navy Emails & Texts.
Looking for an Old Navy coupon? Whenever you sign up for Old Navy emails, you'll get a coupon valid for 20% off your next purchase, valid in-store and online. You can even use this code on sale & clearance items (note that it can't be combined with other coupons or offers)!
Plus, whenever you text PERK to 653-689, you'll get a coupon valid for $5 off your $35 purchase. The offer will be texted to you within 24 hours of opt-in and expires 14 days from receipt.
3. Shop OldNavy.com for the best discounts.
One of my favorite tips for shopping online is that you can get free shipping on any $50 order BEFORE discounts or Old Navy coupon codes are applied. And, you can stack up to three promo codes per order to really bring down your total (in the past, I've been able to use a free shipping with minimum purchase code along with two other codes!)! That means you can score some huge savings and potentially have it all shipped to your door for free.
Plus, if you see something you love from Gap.com, BananaRepublic.com, or Athleta.com, feel free to add it to your combined cart and the amount will go towards your shipping total.
4. Head in-store on Wednesday mornings.
Old Navy typically marks down items on Tuesday evenings, so make plans to shop Wednesday morning for the best selection of clearance items. Please note that this will vary greatly by area, but is what I've found at my local stores. Call your local store and ask when they typically mark down their clothes.
Looking for an Old Navy Store near you? Check out the Old Navy store locator and store hours HERE ~ just enter your zip code to find a location nearest you.
5. Watch the sale tags for clues on pricing.
Prices ending in .47, .49, .97, or .99 are typically at their very lowest price from Old Navy and usually won't be reduced further.
If you see something you love, grab it while you can!
6. Take advantage of gift card specials.
CVS and Walgreens occasionally offer specials like – Buy a $50 Old Navy Gift Card, Get back $10 Store Rewards. In my area, both Kroger and Giant Eagle offer gas savings when you purchase retail gift cards at those stores. You can also find discounted gift cards on sites like Raise.com. Pick up your gift cards there before you shop, and save on your gas for the month!
To save even more, watch for special Kroger e-coupons (also available at most Kroger affiliate stores). I've frequently found $10 off $50 Gap & Old Navy gift card e-coupons on the Kroger site, and it's a great way to save even more when you shop.
The nice thing about these sales are that you can snag gift cards for $10 off the regular price, earn fuel points, AND then use coupons when shopping at Old Navy. Great way to triple dip on savings (love that!).
And keep in mind – you can can use Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta Gift Cards interchangeably at their sister stores!
7. Watch for annual Old Navy sales.
Every year, Old Navy has huge sales like the Old Navy Flip Flop Sale when you can snag flip flops CRAZY cheap or the Old Navy Tank Top Sale $2 tank tops in the summer, or $1 hats and $2 scarves in the winter. Watch for those annual sales to come up, and be sure to get to your local store early to get the best selection!
8. Shop their in-store One-Day Sales too.
Every once in a while, Old Navy will announce a one-day sale on their Facebook page offering special deals. These sales are the best way to get deals at Old Navy, even though you typically can't combine them with an additional coupon.
By shopping these one-day sales, you can save big on Old Navy maternity, jeans, dresses, kids clothing, pajamas, leggings, flip flops, baby apparel, and much more.
9. Never (ever) pay full price at Old Navy.
Whether shopping online or in-store, always (ALWAYS) shop the Old Navy sales and look for Old Navy coupons & promo codes before shopping! You can look for discounts directly on the Old Navy site or check for them here at Passionate Penny Pincher for the latest scoop!
Just like your local grocery store, Old Navy puts everything on sale in their store within a 4-6 week time period, so be patient and wait for a sale. If you can wait until they clearance things at the end of the season, you'll save even more!
Don't forget that Old Navy will give you 14 days to get a price adjustment if the price on something you purchased goes down within 14 days after you purchase it. To get that pricing, just head to the Old Navy Customer Service desk with your receipt and they'll credit you the difference. Go HERE for more information on the Old Navy return policy & price adjustments.

I let my super cash expire? Can they be redeemed any other way?
Alice -PPP Team says
Bummer! Maybe try reaching out to their customer service? Hope that helps!
Debi says
I received a $50 Super Cash email for online or store. I used $10 of it. Last night I was buying $60+ of store merchandise expecting to use $20 of my remaining Super cash. I was told at checkout then that even though I used only $10 of my $50, the remainder was not usable, the coupon can only be used once. Previously I was told I had $40 left to use. Very confused and a bit ticked off.
Laurie says
So sorry to hear that Debi ~ I would reach out to their customer service for assistance!
Karenn says
I just tried it and you do not get free shipping online if you spend less than $50, regardless if you are using super cash./
Laurie says
Hi Karen! Well darn – they’re not doing the free shipping when you use Super Cash this time it looks like – that’s disappointing as they’ve offered that with every Super Cash redemption period for a while now. I’ll update the post to say there’s been a change – thanks for bringing that to our attention!
Rebecca says
Anyone have super cash you’re not using?
Emily says
Old Navy has 30% almost always online. SuperCash is 40% off. Shop online and don’t sweat it.
Michelle says
Does Old Navy Rewards Program apply in Canada?
Corie says
We love Old Navy, especially their 50% off in store sales. I love Kohl’s cash but when I tried to use the Old Navy SuperCash on sale items online, the prices changed and it was less expensive to pay the sale prices and not use my SuperCash. I’m not exactly sure if the sale prices reverted to regular prices when I entered my SuperCash? I haven’t tried in a while so maybe that has changed?
Elizabeth says
Just so you know, you can’t use supercash on face masks.
Corie says
My youngest daughter loves Old Navy and we often shop their 50% off sales. Maybe I’ve been doing it wrong but (according to my online cart) my purchases seem to cost more when using Old Navy cash than when I’m just shopping one of their sales. I have $50 ON cash so I’ll try it out again. It seems like sale items are changed back to their regular price and then the Old Navy cash is deducted?
Lindsay Toth says
Yes this, my friends and I have yet to figure out how to use the Super Cash to actually get a good deal. The 30% off they have right now is a better deal on anything I add to my cart.
Summer @Livinglifethrifty says
I always find myself in line at Old Navy on my phone sifting through for a coupon, and I can usually find one! They also give you cash off your purchase if you sign up for their texts. Thanks for these great tips!

Open an Old Navy card…Meredith is right! As long as you plan to pay it off each month, you’ll save even more money on your purchases! Obviously, as with any credit card, it only works if you use it responsibly. But it should definitely be on this list. (I don’t work for Old Navy or any of their affiliates. I’m just a pretty regular customer.)
Meredith says
I currently work at OldNavy and I can’t help but comment to say GET AN OLD NAVY CARD. So many of the customers I ask say no immediately before I can tell them the great benefits and it drives me crazy! Even if you don’t think you’ll be approved just try. Seriously the card Pat’s you back for shopping with our brands. Every $100 you spend (really easy to rack up if your approved for the Visa) you get $5 back in rewards, free shipping online,10% off for your first 60 days at any of the brands, cardholder exclusive sales/ coupons/deals, and that’s just a few of the benefits!
Laurie says
Thanks for sharing Meredith! I think as long as you faithfully pay it off every month and absolutely positively never leave a balance, that’s a great way to save. Great tip if that is something you can realistically do (it’s just so easy for those extra charges to creep in if you don’t pay it off, so we tend to stay clear of store credit cards but I know it is something that’s worth it for some folks!)
Lisa says
Meredith,
It pains me every time a store asks me if I want to open a credit card with their store. I’ve been saying no for so long now, that I have my response down pat, even before they ask. Please don’t come to your own conclusions about why people don’t take advantage of this opportunity. For me it is common sense to have less credit so my credit rating number didn’t take a plunge. My number is very high, and the more debt I take on per month. It lowers my rating. This number means something to people. You have no idea what other people’s reasons are, so judging a stranger is pointless. Think positive of people’s reasons for decline your card.
Zoe says
Thanks, definitely saving this for later.
