Are you looking to add a little extra night time lighting to your walkway or garden area? I recently snagged these highly rated Solar Pathway Lights from Home Depot for just $3.88 and honestly – I wasn't expecting much from them. I mean how well can a plastic light work that's under $4??
But I needed something to replace our glass garden lights that we had paid a bunch more for a few years ago and figured I would try something a bit cheaper this time around!
Well let me tell you…they work great! They were SUPER easy to install (I mean you just literally take off a couple stickers and pop them in the ground!)…and then let the sun work it's magic! The lights automatically come on at dusk and go off at dawn and they provide a decent amount of light too.
Here are a few more features of these lights:
- Each light is 8 lumens – brightness (many solar lights are only 1 lumen nowadays)
- Warm white LED lights
- Built to withstand outdoor elements
- Simple installation, just stake into the ground wherever the sun shines

NOTE – These solar pathway lights (and solar lights in general) are not shining beacons. They are more decorative and work great if you're wanting to add some subtle lighting to an area. 🙂
