How To Use: Existing Containers.
To add to your existing container plants, you’ll need to make several holes in the soil (with a stick or pencil) evenly spaced around the plant. Make sure to avoid the root area. The amount of Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals you add depends on the size of your container.
NOTE – If you add too much to the soil, the crystals will expand as they are watered and may cause the soil to swell out of the pot. If using on hanging plants or if you live in hot climate, you can also try putting the crystals directly on top of the soil, away from the root.
How To Use: In Ground.
You can add Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals to your in-ground plants. Work the Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals evenly into the soil throughout the root zone at a rate of 7 teaspoons per 6-foot row.
