Woohoo! The popular and nostalgic McDonald’s Halloween Happy Meal Buckets are back again for 2024! The McDonald's Halloween “Boo Buckets” for 2024 are in restaurants NOW.
These will be available through October 31st, or while supplies last – so be sure to grab yours fast! These are such a fun trip down memory lane – but I'm sure they'll go fast like they did last year!
There are a few new designs this year – four in all to look forward to. Most times it is completely random what stores will have available, and they're likely to go quick.
2024 McDonald's Boo Buckets
A little history behind these buckets…
The Happy Meal Halloween Pails were first released in 1986 and featured all orange pumpkin-shaped buckets with different faces. Then in 1989, the buckets changed to an orange jack-o-lantern, green witch, and white ghost (like pictured above). Then in 1990, the buckets added some glow-in-the-dark flair to the designs, and the pails continued to change over the years until they stopped releasing them in 2016. 🙁

So, do they have lids at all?
Hi Anita! I haven’t gotten one yet but if they’re bringing back the same buckets then they should have the lids on them. Let us know if you get one!:)
I hate they don’t have the lids like the originals. They were perfect for storing things like crayons.
