Ideas for Kitchen Storage Carts (This Air Fryer Cart is SO SMART!)
Did you get a new Air Fryer, Instant Pot, Ninja, Kitchenaid Mixer, Toaster Oven or Slow Cooker recently?
You might be looking for the perfect home in your kitchen for your new appliance (lots of these can take up so much counter space!). We've rounded up some cute kitchen carts & shelves that are not only affordable but get great reviews.
Bonus: A kitchen cart can also make a great coffee nook!
Here are some kitchen storage carts and bookshelves that would make a perfect place to store your gadgets:
With around 30,000 positive reviews – this 5-shelf unit lends vertical storage to your kitchen or pantry for storing a number of appliances! The leveling feet give it stability if you choose them over the wheels. Total Max weight load is a whopping 1500 lbs – so no worries about overloading it!
This will really hold a variety of different sized appliances and looks great – one Amazon reviewer had this to say:
Once we completed the assembly this unit is rock solid. Over the past few years we have collected several kitchen “gadgets” and took up way to much counter space. Saw this unit and it had 90% 4 and 5 ** reviews. We store our stand mixer, air fryer, food processor, slow cooker, cast iron skillets and other accessories, GREAT addition for our kitchen!!
This one gets high marks for working well in tight spaces! It holds lots of gadgets on the 5 shelves and they're all adjustable to fit what you need. Plus the price point is great 🙂
This is also a great space-saving option, but with the added benefit of serving as a sturdy countertop. The butcher block topper is perfect for adding an extra food prep area in your kitchen!
How do I choose a kitchen cart?
Think about your decor, what you're planning to use the item for, and how much space you have available. The LAST thing you want to do is get a kitchen cart that doesn't fit and causes more clutter in the room. Also consider if you would prefer an item with drawers and doors or if you are fine having a more open look to your storage solution.
What should you store on your kitchen cart?
This is really up to you! I've seen lots of people use these carts for their smaller appliances, but some like to keep pantry items and coffee there. You can also add decor onto the carts. Whatever it takes to make the space more functional for you!

The Amazon 5 shelf storage unit is the absolute best. They are so easy to put together, are so sturdy, we love them. We have 4 in total. We use one for our appliances, as mentioned here and the remainder are in the garage, for overstock of groceries, paper towels etc. Love them.

Laurie says
Hi Brenda! My shelf came from HomeGoods awhile back and I can’t find the same on in stock any longer – I’m so sorry! I bet you would find something similar at TJMaxx or HomeGoods this time of year though!

I don’t have room in my kitchen for any kind of bookcase or anything like that. But, I do have a 3 shelves in the laundry room where I put large appliances. I can’t get down to reach the back of my lower cabinets in the kitchen; so, I came up with a solution. I have a closet in the garage and I put a metal storage rack in it. I put the extra appliances on it. The garage is right off of the kitchen. And, the laundry room is right off the kitchen.
