Check out how easy it is to make this decadent chocolate sauce with just a few ingredients!   This is delicious to top ice cream or your favorite dessert.  

It’s also so nice because you will know exactly what ingredients are in it, and you can make it organic if you’d like.  I haven’t seen organic hot fudge sauce in stores.  This recipe is seriously awesome!

Ingredients for Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce:

  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Chocolate Chip Morsels
  • Butter

How to make Fudge Sauce at Home:

Add all of your items (except your butter!) into a large stock pot and start to stir with the heat on low.

The key is to stir constantly while cooking! 

You’ll want to stir this mixture constantly until morsels are completely melted.

Making hot fudge sauce at home

Once melted remove from heat and add butter.

You an use the hot fudge sauce immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Prep Time3 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 can Sweetened condensed Milk
  • 1 cup chocolate morsels
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Stir sweetened condensed milk and chocolate morsels in saucepan constantly on medium heat until it morsels are melted.
  • Once morsels are melted remove from heat add butter stir until melted.
  • Use immediately or store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks in fridge

Can you freeze hot fudge sauce?

No.  It just doesn’t thaw well unfortunately!

How long does homemade hot fudge sauce last in the fridge?

If you’d like to make this sauce in advance, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
