What is Grinch fudge?
This dessert is a twist on a classic fudge recipe but pulls in everyone's favorite grump, the Grinch, from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Colored green and mixed with OREOS, this fudge is cookies ‘n cream flavored and looks just so stinkin' cute!
Ingredients needed for fudge:
- White chocolate
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Salt
- Green food coloring
- Oreo cookies
How to make Grinch fudge:
Start by adding your white chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, salt, and green food coloring to a heavy saucepan. Melt over low heat until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
Meanwhile, roughly chop your cookies (you'll need about 20 cookies for the fudge and about two to eat while you're baking).
Remove the pan from heat and stir in the chopped cookies.
Spread evenly into a foil-lined 8×8″ baking dish. Chill for two hours or until firm. Turn the fudge onto a cutting board and peel off the foil. Cut into squares. Store in an air-tight container at room temp or in the fridge.
