DIY WOODEN PUMPKINS – Such a Fun Craft for Fall!
I saw the idea of DIY Wooden Pumpkins over on Pinterest and I've seen similar wooden pumpkins in decorating stores as well.
And because my sweet hubby has saved
every.
single.
piece . . .Â
of scrap wood he has ever used (bless him!), I had just about everything on hand to make these.
I love that! ❤️
Supplies for DIY Wooden Pumpkins:Â
- 3 pieces of scrap wood
- white and gray paint
- hot glue gun
- jute twine
- wooden stems from my yard
Here's what I did:
- I painted all my scrap wood white. I let that dry and then added polka dots, straight lines and squiggly lines with my gray paint. Any design that suits your fancy will work though. 🙂
- I hot glued a wooden stem (from my yard) and tied on a sweet twine bow and called it done!
- One thing I like about this craft is that you can paint your pumpkins to match your decor if you don't want to use traditional pumpkin colors. 🎃

They're really darling and dressed up Mrs. Potts a bit for Crock-tober the year we created these! 🙂
