How to make a Christmas Caprese Salad
To turn this caprese into a Christmas wonderland, we're going to transform our mozzarella pearls into Christmas trees.
First, grab this Christmas tree silicone mold. This mold is so fun and can be used for so many purposes like cute candies, cookies, and more.
Preheat your oven to 350°. Next, press one mozzarella pearl into each Christmas tree slot. You might need to smoosh the cheese down a little.
Place the tray of cheese into the oven and bake for about 4 minutes to melt the cheese slightly so it forms to the Christmas tree shape. Allow the cheese to cool before removing it from the mold.
Finally, prepare the tomatoes and basil as you normally would for a Caprese salad. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the basil into thin strips.
Combine all ingredients and drizzle your Christmas Caprese Salad with olive oil, Balsamic vinegar or glaze, and salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy!
