Cheese Flatbread Recipe (The BEST Cheesy Bread You’ll Ever Try!)

This is THE BEST Cheese Flatbread recipe. This cheesy flatbread has a ton of flavor and is great for a crowd. Let us know how you like it!

I made this cheese flatbread again last night and my guys were raving about it. My husband even said this would be a great appetizer at a restaurant. So trust me….you’ll want to make this ASAP!

Cheese Flatbread Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • refrigerated thin pizza crust (Pillsbury)
  • butter
  • dried basil
  • minced garlic
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • shredded Parmesan cheese
  • marinara sauce (optional)

How to make cheesy flatbread:

Unroll the dough onto a greased 15x10x1-inch baking sheet, flatten dough and build up the edges slightly.

Spread on that melted and softened butter with a pastry brush.

Sprinkle with basil, minced garlic (or you can use garlic powder too!) and shredded cheeses.  We used parmesan and cheddar, but you could use mozzarella cheese if that’s all you have on hand. 

Bake these cheesy breadsticks in a 425°F oven until crisp, 11-14 minutes. Mine took right at 10 minutes! 🙂

Cut into squares and serve or grab some marinara sauce for dipping!

Servings: 6 people

Ingredients

  • 11 oz refrigerated thin pizza crust
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • marinara sauce, optional

Instructions

Tips:

Be sure to use a thin pizza crust for this recipe because you want to get a nice crisp texture so the thinner the better. We use the Pillsbury thin pizza crust that comes in a roll in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.

I also like to give my pan a good spray with some non-stick cooking spray before spreading out the dough.
