Wrapping Paper Organizer – Everything You Need in ONE Place!
UPDATE: If you watched my friend Ashley's Facebook Live video – here's what she used to organize her wrapping supplies!
Several years ago, I saw this wrapping paper storage & organization idea over on Pinterest, and I KNEW I had to give it a whirl!
I had no idea exactly how easy it would be to create a wrapping paper organizer station, but for a whopping $12.50 it was totally worth it for me.  I love wrapping gifts and making the presentation special and unique – but I hate corralling my supplies from all corners of the house. Digging through closets and storage tubs takes a wee bit of the fun out of it. 🙂
That's why this wrapping paper storage bucket is a game changer!
The Caddy slips over the outside of the bucket and grips the sides tightly (So tightly I couldn't pry it off again when I tried to re-assemble the whole thing for a FB Live video – whoops!).
The tension rod inside of the bucket holds the rolls of ribbon that I like to wrap with. Then the pockets on the outside of the caddy can store cute gift tags, scissors, tape, pens and markers, and more!
There's a place for everything and everything's in its place (I can't say that for everything in my house but at least I can for my wrapping paper supplies!)
Here's what you need to get started with your own wrapping paper organizer:
- 5 gallon paint bucket (You may have one lying around – but I found one at Home Depot for $2.50)
- Fiskars Garden Bucket Caddy or Husky Caddy (I found mine at Home Depot for $6.98, a little cheaper but not quite as cute!)
- 8-12″ tension rod (look for these in the drapery or section at Home Depot or Lowe's – Lowe's was the only store in our area that carried them)
If you don't have the space for a bucket – here are some other inexpensive wrapping storage options you can pick up on Amazon:
Organizer with Strap – under $9
It holds up to 12 rolls of regular 30″ wrapping paper – or for a couple bucks more snag this one that holds longer 40″ rolls and up to 24 of them for just a tiny bit more!
Do you have any great tips on organizing your wrapping supplies for Christmas? Â I'd love to hear them . . . we can always use tips on keeping stuff organized around here!

I bought the Christmas wrapping paper organizer last year and when I brought it in the house this year half of the bottom had ripped from the weight of the wrapping paper. But I like the other idea.

I just saw on facebook that you can take an empty roll of toilet paper and it secures your paper without using tape. FYI

That’s brilliant Sheryl ~ I’m trying that next time! 🙂

I use the toilet paper tube for securing wrapping paper rolls. If your roll of paper is smaller than your tp tube, cut the tp tube and it will curl up around your wrapping paper roll
