I am so excited about this week's recipes!   They're not kid food (if you need that try out Hot Diggety Dogs – super cheap with this week's sales), and they're not hefty man food (although some Italian Beef or Buffalo Chicken Dip sounds pretty good too . . .), instead they're all girly chick food! And the best part is they don't require hanging out in the kitchen when it's way too hot to go near an oven (let me tell you, here in North Alabama it has been hot.)
So today's first chick recipe is for Sundried Tomato Turkey Wraps. It's so tasty (my husband even loves it), and you'll have dinner ready in just a few minutes if you've been chasing kids around all day or are just getting home from work. Here's what you'll need . . .
Tortilla or wrap Flatout Wraps on sale $2.50
6 oz. shaved turkey Â

1/3 cup sundried tomatoes These come in a little pouch near the produce – not the kind in oil but I bet those would be good too! These are a little pricy but we have used them a ton and I've been so glad to have them on hand when I need something extra for my meals.
8 strips bacon cooked
Smithfield Bacon on sale $3.50, you'll need it for Greek Pasta Salad
1 cup mayo
Kraft Mayo Real Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip Dressing BOGO $3.99, Use $0.75/1 Kraft Kroger My Magazine Grilling (exp 8/1/2010) or $1.50/2 Miracle Whip or Kraft Mayo 6/20/2010 SS Insert (exp 8/15/2010)
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Sargento Shredded Cheese or Sunburst On Sale $2, Use $1/1 Sargento Reduced Sodium Natural Cheeses from 04/18 SS
1 sliced tomato (optional but we had some in our garden)
Lettuce (optional)
Mix mayonaise and sundried tomatoes. Spread tomato mixture on wrap. Layer turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon and cheese. Wrap up and enjoy!Â
