I'm just a wee bit excited about this!

Over the weekend I needed to do some shopping (I'm heading out to a conference this week and traveling over the next few weeks with family), but spending a bundle on clothing makes me nuts.

But, as I was driving to Old Navy, it dawned on me that I might have some Ibotta credit that I could use to shop, and oh my stars, I was thrilled.

Since I'd shopped with my daughters a few weeks ago at Old Navy, I had $30 in Old Navy Cash to spend. However, to spend that $30 I would need to spend a minimum of $75 (so I'd wind up paying $45 in cash and using the $30 Old Navy credit), but I really didn't want to spend that much.

Sure enough, I had $80 in Ibotta rebate moo-lah I could use, and scored a whopping $137 in clothing for JUST $2 AT OLD NAVY.

WOOHOO!

Here's exactly what I did:

• I picked up $137 in clothing (eek!)
• Used my $30 in Old Navy Cash
• Hunted down an online Old Navy coupon on my phone to be used in stores (hint: I ALWAYS double check for a coupon before checking out at any store ~ I use CouponSherpa usually to search for coupons and just show the cashier the coupon on my phone when checking out ~ sort at the top by “in-store” to find coupons that will work when you shop in stores)
• Used $80 in Ibotta credit ~ which meant I paid TAX ONLY for all $137 in clothing!

Now, yes . . . I did have to spend some money to get all those free clothes, however we had to buy a few things for my girls this summer for camp which is where the $30 in Old Navy cash came from, and I have to purchase groceries anyways, so I might as well make cash back on them using Ibotta.
