This Snackle Box idea is PERFECT for kids to munch happily on road trip snacks while asking “Are we there yet??”. Try this one!
Snackle Box Ideas for Kids – Perfect for Road Trip Snacks!
My friend, Laura, recently grabbed these adorable Snackle boxes on Amazon. They're great for road trips, or packing lunches for on-the-go!
Planning a road trip with the family?
Rather than take several bags of snacks, fruits, nuts, crackers and cookies to pass around – consider making “Snackle-Boxes” for each kid!
To make these fun snack trays – use food-safe tackle/craft boxes to pack a variety of snacks that will keep little hands munching happily (We think big hands too) 😉 You also might want to whip up a batch of these Homemade Trail-mix Cookies that are PERFECT for road trips!
PPP Team Member Kristen recently put together some snackle-boxes and hers turned out so cute! Here's what she had to say:
I saw these on Pinterest and thought they were so cute – so I ordered these food-safe plastic craft boxes to make my own road trip snack packs.
These boxes are great for all kinds of things. Road trips, picnics, park days, even a long day of running errands and giving the kids something to look forward to after each stop. They are made of food safe plastic and super easy to remove the dividers to fit snacks of all sizes. And they aren’t just for kids, just change out the preferred snacks and you have a perfect snack box for any age. (Think Keto Snack box or Healthy Snacks)
These kid sizes boxes with a dip container (with a LID!) are also a good option to grab! LOVE the option to add a dip or a yogurt to the boxes without having to worry about it sliding everywhere.  They're just $13 shipped and available in a BUNCH of colors too 🙂 Â
I might even send these with my girls when they go to youth camp! I’m pretty sure they will be the ones everyone wants to sit next to – ha 🙂
You can customize these for your kids completely – from really healthy snacks to candy and treats galore (And wouldn't they be fun to take to a drive-in movie?).

This new divided snack container is also one of our MOST POPULAR sellers this year from Prime Day. While it's a little bit bigger, the idea is the same – separating out snack items with an EASY way to transport!Â

I recently made mostly candy snackle boxes for my kids who were going on vacation with their dad and stepmom. In addition to candy, they had bubblegum, little packs of Oreos, and even small beef jerky sticks for my 19-year-old. We got the three dollar boxes from target dollar spot. They were a big hit. ** If doing boxes for summertime, keep in mind that some items like gummies or chocolate candy may melt!
How fun ~ Thanks for letting us know! 🙂

Hi could someone contact me o tried messaging you no reply. I bought something and have a question. Thank you
Hi Theresa! If you could send us a quick email at shop@passionatepennypincher.com, we’d be happy to help with any questions you have! 🙂
My kid would probably accidentally dump the whole thing in the car. But I like the idea for sitting at a table
How do you know they are good safe? I looked at them through the link and it didn’t state it.
Great question Heather! These containers are made of high-quality Polypropylene and according to the FDA, PolyPropylene is a BPA-Free food-safe plastic (used to make yogurt containers and reusable food storage containers). Hope that helps!
