Wanting to give your home a fun facelift on a budget? Team member Misty and her daughter, Mackenzie, recently did some fun wall art to change up the look of her college room. Changing wall art can get expensive really quick, but here are a couple of tips to keep in mind the next time you want to make a change.
This idea started when Mackenzie brought home some discontinued fabric books from her summer job. She wanted to use them for something creative, so artwork or pillows seemed to be the best options. Finding inexpensive frames was the challenge…thrift stores are always a great option for frames, but in this case they needed matching frames for the desired look.
Stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, and craft stores are also good places to get a great deal on frames, especially if you can combine a sale with a coupon!

Once you have your frames all you do is frame the fabric like you would a photo! Fabric remnants or wallpaper samples are also great to use for this kind of project. You can check with local furniture stores or interior design stores for discontinued fabric or wallpaper books also:)
