If you've hung out here for awhile, you know that we love a little DIY on the cheap.Â
We've fluffed my daughter's room,
and our backyard.
We've actually DIY'ed a little more in our house ~ I need to update a few pictures around here! You can see our LAST laundry room makeover here which still cost around $100, but was WAY more impressive than the one I'm sharing today!
One little project I've had though on my list forever though is our laundry room, which to me should be a pretty easy fix. (I have a handy hubby, right?)Â
I've pinned Pinterest photos, scrolled through Instagram, and come up with ideas in my head a bajillion times, but with all we have to do each day this space just hasn't gotten done.
So last week I fluffed.
For about 30 minutes.
No paint.
No moo-lah.
No design.
I just cleaned it right up, used a magic eraser, and hunted throughout my house for a few simple things to make it feel like just a cozier space.
Pretty sure I won the internet that day. 🙂Â
If you don't have the time, the money, or the energy to re-do a space, do not get jealous over someone else's space online.
Tidy up what you have.
Put all the things away.
Add a cozy basket.
See if you can re-use a picture you have in another room.
And take a few minutes to fluff today.
Every single time I've walked into that laundry room for the last week I literally have sighed a bit of sweet relief as I've moseyed down the hall.Â
You can do that too.Â
Would I love fancy hooks, heavy duty shelves, and fancy-pants-tile on those walls?
of course.
Do I need them?
Um… no way.
I have a laundry room…. with CABINETS for heaven sakes. What else more does a girl truly need?
Let me know what space YOU need to fluff (for free!) in your home. I'm cheering for you!Â

I think they saying on your picture fits this post perfectly!!! Your laundry room is beautiful!! I was going through your posts thinking a sale is not a good sale if I did not need to spend the money on it in the first place. So this laundry room makeover fits my theme perfectly. And the saying in your picture fits both of them wonderfully!!! Nice job!!
