We’re kicking off a fun new series around here where we’ll be sharing some of our team members’ very favorite things! We always think it’s so fun to get a peek at the products, finds, and little extras that other people truly love and recommend.

A quick note before you dive in: these picks won’t always be the most frugal finds or on major sale. Some of them may definitely be a bit of a splurge, but they’re all items these ladies feel are absolutely worth it and genuinely use, love, and recommend. Our hope is that this series gives you a few new ideas, introduces you to some tried-and-true favorites, and maybe even helps you discover something you end up loving too!

Meet Laura!

Laura lives in Colorful Colorado with her husband, 3 kids, and a hound dog. She’s embracing her mid to late 30s in full-on mom life. She loves cooking, being creative, and spending time with family. Fun fact: Laura used to teach insurance AND calligraphy classes on the side!

Argan Oil – I absolutely love this for helping fight frizz and make my hair feel silky smooth. You need the tiniest drop so this bottle lasts forever! I usually apply it to damp hair right before I blow dry and it feels and smells great.

Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint + Vitamin C – I’m obseeeeessed with this foundation. Since it’s a skin tint versus full foundation, it goes on super lightweight but still has great coverage. I don’t feel like I’m caked in makeup all day. I love that it has vitamin C and do really feel like you can see it on in my skin! 

Brown Pan Scraper – This is my favorite little kitchen tool right now for cleaning stuck on food from pans. It’s the same quality as the old-school Pampered Chef scrapers but it comes in a 5 pack for under $6 so way better price! I even use it when there’s stuck-on spills on the counter (or floor since I have little kids!). I love these so much I even brought them to a “Favorite Things” party!

Living Room Rug From Amazon – We finally got a new couch in December and decided to get this rug, too! I love it SO so much. My friend Fran has another pattern and recommended it. It’s super soft but not too fluffy so it’s easy to vacuum. I love all the color it adds to our living room and you cannot beat the price especially for the size. We have the 8’x10′ and it’s a good size for our smaller living room.

Yoto – You know you’re a mom when one of your favorite things is something for your kids But as a family we love our Yoto player. It’s an audio player that allows kids to switch out books, music, and more in these cute little cards. My kids use it for quiet time, for play, and we enjoy so much that it’s screen-free fun!

Tibet Almond Stick – I love this little stick for helping the appearance of scratched wood. My kids and dog are hard on furniture and our hardwood floor. You take this little stick and rub it on/into scratches to help hide them a bit. It obviously can’t fully fix the scratch, but it helps hide it really well!
