Homemade Taco Seasoning
Ingredients
- 2 tsps chili powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ garlic powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- pinch red pepper flakes
Directions
Mix all ingredients to equal one package taco seasoning mix. Use 1-2 tablespoons seasoning per pound of meat.
If you prefer to make a bigger batch, quadruple the recipe and store in an airtight container. The 4 oz mason jars with lids or the 8 oz mason jars with lids work perfectly for this recipe. The homemade taco seasoning can be stored in your pantry or even in the freezer.
