We tried these popular Hoka dupes from Walmart and were really impressed. Find out why we love these dupes and where you can grab them!
Walmart Hoka Dupes UNDER $23!
If you've not tried Hoka shoes yet and would like to but the crazy high cost scares you a bit – check out these Hoka dupes we found at Walmart! The ladies on our team have been loving them….
These Avia sneakers are under $23 at Walmart and have great reviews. These are giving Hoka Vibes with their springy color scheme and extra-thick sole. They come in 4 colors and the reviews are awesome!
Here's what PPP Team Member Alice has to say:
Love love love my new dupes! I have a pair of Hokas and these feel just like them but at 1/6 of the price! I had ankle surgery so I’m picky about my shoes and these feel great!
Check out these other reviews, too –
I own 8 pairs of this brand, different styles and colors and every one of them are very comfortable no issues at all except for 1, ordered the wrong size in one pair you just can't go wrong with these sneakers they fit and feel better than those $ 100 dollar sneakers out in retail.
Walmart you did your thing on this one!! These shoes are great and I will be buying another pair! I hate spending so much money on shoes for work knowing I'm going to get them all dirty but $23 on this very comfortable shoes it won't hurt my feelings! Saved me $150 bucks. 😉
I debated buying an 8 wide or 8.5 regular width… thought folks said these run large so I gambled on the 8.5, they fit great! Wide enough for my feet %26 they seem super comfortable! There's room for an extra insole if I wanted to add one – the insoles are not glued down which I love, since my chiropractor suggests slipping 3/4 length insoles “under” the built-in insoles in shoes to prevent them sliding around. My bestie sent me a TikTok where someone said these are comparable to Hoka Bondi's or whatever and I think they'll be at least amazing for a $23 walking shoe!! Definitely worth the $$.
My friend Amber tried out this previous Avia Hoka Dupe last year and said this about the quality:
These have been great to walk around the house and the neighborhood in. I have pretty sensitive feet, but so far they're great! I love the fun colors too. They fit true to size too and I've had no issues having to “break them in”. I've had these now for over a month and they really do have great support and shock absorption. Bonus points that they had quick shipping and didn't break the bank too! These have been a great Hoka alternative so far (full disclosure though – I've never had my own pair of Hokas! The price tag always scared me away).

I haven’t taken the plunge and tried them out but they are on my list. Appreciate you letting us know for all of those that need good shoes.
I decided to try these for work since I’m on my feet a lot. I ordered two pair and I really like how soft and comfortable they are. I found they run true to size. ☺️
That’s great! Thanks so much for letting us know! 🙂
These Avias are not knockoffs or dupes. I’ve been wearing them since the 1980s, and they haven’t changed much. If anything, Hokas are Avia knockoffs.
I only discovered them last year, and I love them!!!! I’ve been running, and in sports my whole life, and have spent soooo much money on sneakers. These are BY FAR the best!!! Trouble finding them in Wal-Mart though… very little stock
So glad to hear! 🙂
Could you order them on line for better selection?
Pediatric orthopedic surgeon had me get Avia brand shoes for my daughter after having reconstructive surgery on her ankle.
That was 29 years ago. I had to go to specialty shoe atore back then and they were more than $30!!!
Wow! So glad you can get them much cheaper now. 🙂
At the Nixa MO store, they had pink and lilac. Also they have the slip-on Avia and I purchased the navy. They also had the slip-on in black.
I found them online bought three pair very comfy I started physical therapy and they seem to be just light enough thank you for the tip.
Shelley, that’s perfect! I’m so glad you love them:)
Found black and white ones in Sacramento, very comfortable.
Good to know Jenn! 🙂
Found them at Walmart in Bixby, OK
