Gobble Meals Delivered for 50% OFF
If you're a busy mom with a lot going on – take one stressor off your plate by getting groceries delivered and dinner on the table with Gobble!
Since we've been at home more these last several months, I've been cooking more lately… And I'll be honest, I'm getting a bit tired of my own recipes! I decided to try out Gobble since we've never done this meal kit before. Gobble Meals are quick and easy to throw together – 15 minutes from start to finish! (I really like that part 🙂 )
15 Minutes is MY KIND OF MEAL PREP!
I used this link and singed up to get 50% OFF our 1st Box + FREE Shipping. I chose the 3 Meal Box for 2 People and it came to $36 Shipped. (That breaks down to $6 per meal, per person)
My box arrived just in time for Good Friday – with the salmon meal I was planning to make for supper. (yay!)
My Gobble Meals
For my first box – I ordered the following meals from the Gobble Menu:
- Baked Salmon with Asparagus & Bearnaise Sauce
(I hate salmon – but my hubby and teenager LOVE it! I think this meal might be the one that's MOST worth $6 per person.)
- Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Lemon-Basil Orzo Salad
- Thai Pork Stir Fry with Sweet Peppers and Brown Rice
I was very impressed with how well the Gobble box was packaged. It'swell insulated, so it's okay for it to sit out on your porch for up to 30 hours without danger. As I unpacked it to stick it in the fridge, I was glad to see that rather than throw all the ingredients into the box together, each meal's ingredients were separated into it's own bag.
The meat was underneath those bags, in another even more-insulated layer with ice packs. Everything was nice and cold!
The recipe cards are laid out so well and with such clear instructions that even my kids would be able to make the whole meal themselves. In fact…. that's something we're wanting to do more, is have the kids help with meals while they're home.
Price-wise, Gobble costs about the same per-plate as the Home Chef box and the Martha and Marley Spoon Box that we've tried before. Occasionally we see a meal-delivery kit that drops as low as $4.50 per plate, but no promo codes are around right now for that kind of deal.
Here's the price breakdown once your discounted 1st box promotion ends:
- 2-Person Plan: Each meal is $11.99. This means that if you order 3 dinner kits (6 meals), it will be $71.94.
- 4-Person Plan: Each meal is $11.99. This means that if you order 3 dinner kits (12 meals), it will be $143.88.
Unlike some meal delivery kits – there's no discount for ordering larger quantities. Shipping is $6.99 per order after your 1st box.
If you would like to try Gobble for a steal – you can go here and sign up to get 50% off your first box. (plus free shipping!)
I think it's a nice way to shake up your routine and learn to cook something different – and during this time of staying home, it's one more way to get food delivered to your doorstep.
