Easy Wrapping Paper Christmas Craft for Kids
If you're putting up your Christmas decorations this week and are going to be wrapping gifts too – this is a fun way to help keep kids entertained and also add a whimsical look to some of your gifts.
I love easy Christmas crafts for kids – the simpler the better – and goodness it doesn't get much simpler than this!  All you need for this craft is some kiddos who like to doodle (ahem – scribbling is ok too!), some crayons or art supplies, and a roll of cheap wrapping paper. And hey – if you have artistic tweens you might be able to get them in on this as well!
Instructions:
- Unroll the wrapping paper leaving the plain white side up.
- Let the kids color or paint Christmasy scenes all over it and let them know this will be used to wrap gifts for friends and family.
- And… that's it!
My friend Ashley did this with her cuties this week and she wanted to share these tips:
My one recommendation I would say is if they have a really specific idea… wrap the box first! Then let them draw on the box. It is a little difficult to wrap after if its not just a mix of pretty things.
You may be asking what is happening in the photos!Â
Here is the run down…My daughter was adamant about a volcano exploding presents instead of lava with a Christmas tree forest around it and Santa flying by with his reindeer. LOL!
….And it was night so there had to be stars in the sky. Then the little one just had to join and scribble some of her own too. (not sure what they started drawing at the end there…. I think they got drawing fatigue)
It was a lot of fun to do with them though and hopefully created a fun memory for them!Â
