However, from what I can tell people get a little more excited about easy Monkey Bread than they ever would about a pork roast, so I decided to share this super simple recipe for Monkey Bread today instead.

(No idea how to get a pretty picture of this girl because she just makes ridiculous faces every single time, but she was happy with the monkey bread idea too!)

Before my kids gobbled down the batch I made this morning in honor of the we-have-another-two-hour-delay-are-you-kidding-me-really? day, I snapped a few shots to share. It's a miracle there was any of it left ~ I'm hoping my husband gets a tiny sliver when he gets home from work tonight! Here's the recipe if you'd like to treat your family too . . .

  1. Cut biscuits into quarters and coat with cinnamon sugar mixture of 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon (at our house we put the biscuits in plastic bags and my kids shake until their heart’s content!)
  2. Melt butter; mix with brown sugar and 1 Tablespoon cinnamon.
  3. Put half of biscuits into a greased bundt pan & pour half of brown sugar mixture over it.
  4. Put remaining biscuits in bundt pan & then remaining brown sugar in bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.  Top with powdered sugar glaze.
