Easy Easter Pretzel Treats (Bunnies and Chicks!)

These Easter pretzel snacks with M&Ms are irresistibly sweet, salty, and super fun to make! Perfect for getting kids involved in the kitchen—my 6-year-old daughter had a blast helping!

Bonus tip: all of the ingredients used to make these treats can be added to your next Walmart+ delivery order, so you can easily make memories with your family without having to stop at the store!

Let’s hop right in and get started with these festive treats!

Ingredients for Bunnies:

  1. On a sheet of parchment paper, place the pretzel snaps lined up in rows.
  2. Next, add a single white chocolate melt in the center of each pretzel.

3. Put the pretzels with the candy melts on top in the oven at 350 degrees. Watch them closely so they don’t burn! They don’t need to be in there for too long, just long enough to melt the white chocolate. For me, it took about 3 minutes.

4. Carefully cut an M&M in half to make the bunny ears. Then, gently press one whole M&M into the melted white chocolate for the bunny’s head, followed by the two M&M halves for the ears.

5. Let the chocolate harden and enjoy your little colorful bunnies!

How about making some little chicks to go with your bunnies?

Ingredients for Chicks:

  1. On a sheet of parchment paper, place the pretzel twists lined up in rows.
  2. Next, melt your yellow candy melts in your microwave according to the package directions.

3. Using a spoon, fill the center of each pretzel with the melted yellow chocolate—it’s the chick’s body!

4. Carefully cut an M&M in half and place one half on the side of each pretzel for the chick’s beak.

5. Add a little sprinkle for the chick’s eye.

6. Let the chocolate harden before removing from the parchment paper and then enjoy your snack!

I love how both of these treats turned out! They were easy enough that my kids could join me, but oh so tasty too!
