CUTE Painted Pumpkins for Fall
If you are looking for a SUPER duper simple fun weekend project, check out this fun we had making these CUTE painted pumpkins several years ago!Â
This is PERFECT if you're kinda lazy like me. And even more perfect if your home doesn't match orang-eeey pumpkin colors like mine but you'd like to have a splash of fall on your porch.Â
  Â
This is SO incredibly simple but can make SUCH a difference in your home. You only need a few items and this is SO easy that the kids can help out too (even if they're younger!).
How to create CUTE painted pumpkins:
Start by picking your pumpkin that you plan to paint.
Next, pick out some paint. If you're planning to use the pumpkins on the front porch, you can pick colors that match your decor. Or have fun with it and let the kids pick any wacky color they want!
We used crafting paint I'd picked up at  Michael's for $1 a few weeks ago.
Then, just paint your pumpkins and enjoy!
Done.Â
I'd love to hear what you're crafting this week – be sure to share in the comments!
By the way, did you know painting a pumpkin teals lets kids with allergies know that your home will have a candy free treat for them? I had no idea until someone shared that with me over on Instagram – we'll have to hunt down a few treats to hang onto at our house!

Happy Fall to All !!
That is so thoughtful and helpful regarding the Teal Pumpkin. One of my twin boys has a peanut allergy and Halloween came bittersweet. Because in the early 2000’s people were not as aware and mindful of this deadly allergy. Every Halloween I secretly bought my sons favorite peanut free candies and when they came home and dumped their haul on the floor,I would pull out his nut-free bucket. There wasn’t any jealousy or ill feelings because we all were concerned for his life not pettiness. Our other family Halloween tradition was to come home put in the old black and white Frankenstein, Wolfman and Mummy movie. Those are the original Hollywood actors and will never change. They would answer the door in costumes and we had a great time.

There is a special significance to the teal pumpkin, if placed outside your home. It is a well-known indicator for parents of children with food allergies that you are giving non-food items for trick or treat. These could be stickers, pretend tattoos, items you buy in bags at Party City for party favors. Your pumpkins are lovely.
