  1. Mary Hamilton says:

I went to Dollar General last night for some of the posted deals and when I went to check out the clerk told me they no longer accept printed coupons from a computer printer or any kind of photo copied coupons. Plus if you do have a regular coupon and it doesn't scan they won't use that one either.

  2. I have also had some bad experiences using coupons at Dollar General. I have called both the corporate office and the regional manager about the fact that the stores are not upholding their coupon policies. I have even had problems using coupons that were printed directly from their website. They are extremely inconsistent.

  3. Melissa says:

If you download the DG app, you can use a digital coupon for $1 off Compleats Meal by Hormel, and then stack it with a $1.00 printable. It costs $2.25, so you end up paying .25 cents.

  4. I went to Dollar General last night and had there coupons for there air freshener and they told me I would have to do separate transaction. I told her that was fine. The first one was right but the next 3 had double taxes. I question it and she told me there was nothing they could do.

  5. The reason dollar general have to read and follow what coupons says it it say limit one coupon per transaction and limit 4 per household them it’ll have to be separate transactions due to the coupon saying limit one per transaction.. And the reason the don’t take double coupons because they have changed the coupon policy for in stores it says don’t double coupons.

  6. Mindy Johsnon says:

Ok so how does this work. I picked my items and put them on my list. Do you also have to have the coupons for the items in red or anything that says like this:
    – $0.50/2 General Mills Chex Mix, Bugles, or Gardetto’s – 1-8-17 SS; Includes 3.7 oz or Larger Only (exp. 03/04/17)
    – $1.00/2 General Mills Chex Mix, Bugles, or Gardetto’s – 1-8-17 SS; Includes 3.7 oz or Larger Only (exp. 03/04/17)
    How does that work.

  7. Mindy Johnson says:

Ok one other question. What about like on the bounce fabric softner. It says .50/1 digital and then it says .75/1 bounce product and again .75/1 bounce product. where do those come from.
