However, as the creams dry down and are absorbed into the skin, their scents become ever so slightly different (I tried both at the same time on different arms). The SDJ becomes warmer on my skin pretty quickly revealing a subtle but rich salted caramel, which the TH lotion still has, but seems to lack a bit more. They both smell rich and decadent, and honestly, I have found that both scents last on me ALL day.

I apply at night before bed, and still get whiffs of the stuff as I go about my day the following morning. By the end of the day, after hours of wear, I find that the Tropic Glow cream warms up as well and smells pretty much identical to the Bum Bum Cream, but is not as strong and overpowering of a scent (which could be perfect if you are sensitive to strong fragrances). I will never pay $45 for this amazing scent ever again. I have psoriasis, and the Tree Hut cream moisturizes my skin better than the Sol de Janeiro.”
