Apple Siri Settlement: Claim Up to $100
Have you ever had a conversation and suddenly heard Siri chime in—without you ever saying “Hey Siri”? If so, you’re not alone… and you could be owed money!
Apple has agreed to a $95 million settlement in a class action lawsuit over claims that its Siri voice assistant recorded users without permission. The lawsuit alleges that Siri sometimes activated by mistake on Siri devices* and picked up private conversations, which were then reviewed by Apple contractors. However, Apple denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to the settlement to put the matter to rest.
*A Siri device means an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook, iMac, HomePod, iPod touch, or Apple TV, which you've enabled to use Siri, and purchased or owned between Sept. 17, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2024.
