You MUST try making these Halloween dot cakes!

Halloween Dot Cakes
If you’ve been on social media lately, you’ve probably seen the viral Dot Cakes taking over your feed. They’re simple, adorable little cakes made by layering cake and frosting inside a cup, then topping them with sprinkles. And honestly, I immediately knew they would be even more fun with a Halloween twist!
These Halloween Dot Cakes are the cutest little treat for Halloween, and they only require 3 ingredients! Chocolate cake, orange frosting, and black-and-orange Halloween sprinkles come together to make a festive dessert that looks way more complicated than it actually is.
I love that it doesn’t require any fancy decorating skills! They’re so easy, and they’re perfect for Halloween parties, classroom treats, or whenever you want a fun little Halloween dessert that feels extra special.
Ingredients:
- Chocolate cake mix, prepared according to package directions
- Orange frosting
- Halloween nonpareil sprinkles
- Cups or small Mason jars (I used these adorable candy corn ones)

How to Make Halloween Dot Cakes:
Bake the chocolate cake according to the package directions. You’ll want to put it in a sheet pan or a 9×13 pan at the biggest. Let it cool completely.

Turn the cups upside down and use the rim to cut circles from the sheet cake. Then push the cake down to the bottom of the glass.

Add a layer of orange frosting, and repeat with another piece of cake and frosting.

Finish with frosting on top flattened to the rim, and then cover the top with Halloween sprinkles by turning the cup upside down into a plate of the sprinkles.

That’s it! You have adorable little Halloween dot cakes with hardly any effort.

I just LOVE how these Halloween dot cakes turned out! So perfect for all the Spooky Season gatherings!
