These marshmallow fluff ghost cups are a Halloween treat that’s quick, kid-friendly, and just a little spooky!
DIY Marshmallow Ghost Cups
I’ve always been a “cute Halloween” kind of person. Give me pumpkins with smiles, friendly ghosts, and candy corn over cobwebs and creepy clowns any day. So when the weather turned crisp this week and my kids came home from school chattering about costumes and class parties, I knew I had to turn our everyday snack into something a little more festive.
These ghost cups were the perfect idea. They’re easy enough for little hands to help with, and making them together turned into a giggly, marshmallow-fingered activity that ended with happy faces and chocolate mustaches.
What you’ll need:
- Clear plastic cups
- Marshmallow fluff
- Black Sharpie
- Chocolate milk
- Small spoon
How to make them:
Using a spoon, spread marshmallow fluff inside the sides of the cup. This creates the look of a white ghost peeking out from inside (I fit three ghosts on the sides). Don’t worry if it’s a little messy, it just adds to the “ghostly” effect.
Before you fill your cups, use your black Sharpie to draw fun ghost faces right on the outside of the cup. You can go classic, silly, or even spooky!
Carefully pour chocolate milk into the cup. The white fluff will stand out against the dark drink and make your ghost come to life.
Add a straw (bonus points if it’s striped or Halloween-themed) and serve immediately for a sweet and sippable treat.
Easy peasy! Whether you make these for an after-school snack, a Halloween party, or just a cozy October afternoon, these marshmallow fluff ghost cups are sure to be a hit with your little ghouls and goblins.
Tip: You need to buy the plastic cups that don’t have ridges, or you won’t be able to see the ghosts!
