If you're looking to score a great pair of jeans that have pockets & a zipper, are super forgiving, pass the squat/dance test, and are very affordable – don't miss these Walmart skinny jeans! We tried them…and love them!
These jeans are high waisted or “high rise” so they fit a little above your waist, which is great for covering any stomach fluff you may want to hide. And the fitted fabric makes your tush flattering, too! They're super comfy!
These Time and Tru jeans are regularly under $18, available in three colors, and come in sizes 4 to 22 (with petite options, too!). They're crafted in a stretchy denim fabric that allows you to move (or dance! 😉 ) without feeling uncomfortable. If you're curious, here's the blend of each wash:
- Black: 60% Cotton/24% Polyester/12% Rayon/4% Spandex
- Light Wash/Dark Wash: 56% Cotton/26% Polyester/13% Rayon/5% Lycra
My friend Mary recently tried these jeans and ended up getting all three colors – she LOVES them! She is 5'6 and 138-ish pounds and ordered a size 4 (they run pretty true to size).
Note that the pant legs are a little long, so if you don't plan to roll them up or just like them a little shorter, consider ordering a petite size.

The best jeans I have found anywhere! I have tried MANY different brands of jeans and I always come back to these! They never disappoint and the price is so good for the quality and fit! I am short but ordered the regular and they are a good length. I wear a size 8 or 10 and ordered these in a 10 and they are perfect. My go to jeans! These are my favorite jeans. So comfortable and the material is soft. I am fairly short and I don't have to worry about the length. They wear very well. Price is great.
LOVE! I love these! Very cute, fit perfectly, perfect for rolling the cuff, and the high rise is my new favorite! I like being able to partially tuck in tops, it's much more comfortable on my mommy tummy, and it's just all around the best!
They make my butt look good! 😉 I've tried different pants from other stores and never seem to like them. But these little skinny jeans are great! The stretch is just right. I like what they do for my butt. 😂
