Thanksgiving is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start looking for bargains on Holiday Food Boxes!
One of the biggest reason we do what we do on this site, is to help you save abundantly for your own families and in turn give back to charity, so the season of giving is our favorite time of year . . . this is what it’s all about. 🙂
During the Holidays we’ll keep a Holiday Food Box Match Up list, and hopefully we’ll all be able to save and give abundantly this season. In most areas Holiday Food Box items are due between November 15th and 23rd. Most of these items typically go on sale over the next few weeks (except sweet potatoes and applesauce, if memory serves me right.) 😉
Frequently Requested Holiday Food Box Items
- 2 Boxes of stuffing mix (“bags” tend to split and spill)
- 2 cans/jars of gravy or 2 pkgs of powdered gravy mix
- 1 box of Instant Potatoes or 2 cans of Potatoes
- 4 cans vegetables (Sweet peas, Green beans, Corn, other)
- 2 boxes of macaroni & Cheese (1 large or 2 small boxes)
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 3 cans of fruit
- 2 cans of sweet potatoes (1 large or 2 small)
